This hotel is absolutely fabulous. It is right on the harbour at the western end. We stayed in room 10 which had a gorgeous balcony and comfortable bed/bathroom. No air con but we didn’t need it. We booked parking which was right at the back door and meant we could just carry in our suitcase. We didn’t eat downstairs but got coffees in am and had them on our balcony. Check out at 11am and you have to move your car at 11am. Overall excellent stay for the price paid.

Location and port view are absolutely incredible. Staff were helpful and friendly. Can pay for a buffet breakfast and there are good choices. The vibe of being directly in the centre of it all is what you are paying for. Highly recommend booking the seaside view room looking over port.
Would love a mini fridge in the room.
The bed length is also shorter than the standard, but not a big issue for us.

Location at the port was excellent. Having a restaurant on site was ideal. The bus stop to the train station was. ten minutes by foot. Took a boat tour from a nearby dock.
