Amazing time in hotel Labranda in Side (Sorgun)

Enchanting milieu in the green zone of Side (Sorgun), cordial, friendly and helpful staff, pleasurable pool with good size and depth and its water was always clear, the room was cleaned on daily basis, the bed linen was changed several times to fresh one and the towels every single day, variety of foods, great dishes, rich supply, amazing seaside, mini coach service from the hotel to the beach.

Room size could be bigger, the operation of the elevator was a bit crazy and it's slow, quality of drinks in the bar could be better, lactose free milk was available only in the morning during breakfast time. Centre of Side is a bit far, but the lot of plants & flowers compensated us. One dish was missing for us from the menu, which is really great at summer time, the cold fruit soup.

I really liked the service. Öznur who worked in the restaurant was very kind. The pools are clean. Very nice staff. The food is amazing. Close to the beach and they have transfer to the beach. Restaurant at the beach all included. Really nice beach. The animations show was nice. The price is worth.

Not the best but good.

İt is a compact property. The best thing with this hotel is the cleaning and housekeeping. Beds are comfortable. All facilities are very compact and closed to each other. First and the best investment to be made would be the elevators. Food is not the best but ok. The building is fairly old and needs renovations here and there. The The region is very green and hotel is located near a small river therefore Remember to pack a good mosquito repellent spray. There is a small town center with cafes, bars, shops and pharmacy just outside the hotel to have a walk after dinner. Hotel has shuttle bus to the beach but we preferred to walk. It takes only 10 min. Hotel has Very good beach facilities and sand beach. The sea was very wavy during our stay in June so it was not convenient to swim for the kids.

The best thing with this hotel is the cleaning and housekeeping.

A lot of people from the hotel got poisoned (most likely by food)!

From at least the 9th to the 10th of September a lot of people from the hotel were brought to the hospital because of continuous diarrhea and vomiting! In particular my wife had a temperature of around 40. Everyone I met in the hospital was from Labranda. The personnel and the management have 'a strong official position' that is not on them, saying it comes from the sea or wherever. Some people just arrived that day and only eat in the hotel before the first symptoms. The hotel intentionally calls an ambulance from the private hospital Anadolu Hastanesi which has an agreement with the hotel. My wife like many other patients had infection spotted in the blood test but the final medical report stipulated clearly there is Noninfective gastroenteritis and colitis. This exact wording as well as the medical report word-to-word I have seen at least three times. The private clinics costs me more than 1000 euros for a bit more than 1 hour for the two of us. I talked to at least 4 people claiming the same. 4 days my wife had been suffering in room number. The hotel personnel did NOTHING to warn people about the problem, some people didn't even know that there is a case of widespread infection in the hotel, and they are not the ones who have the same symptoms! Outrageous disrespect and endangering guests' lives. Few other guests and I were trying to speak with the assistant of the executive manager and demand compensation but we have been proposed a discount for the massage. The assistant of the executive manager claims that there are just INDIVIDUAL cases, around 10. I knew at least 6 people personally who had it and have seen many more.

Superb

We stayed in the hotel for more than a week and we liked it a lot. Everyday cleaning, friendly stuff, very delicious food, close to the warm sea, nice pool, big room with high ceiling. Pool is good and clean, but we didn’t use it much since sea was warmer (end of August). Right next to the hotel there is a bus stop and ride to ancient Side takes about 15-20 mins. We had a problem at our room with plugs and they solved it in 30 mins - so fast! We didn’t drink alcohol so I can’t rate this point.

Nice beach, simple and comfortable rooms equipped with everything that is necessary, beautiful hotel environment, great evening shows and amazing food!

Not a bad thing, just an advice: Lobby could have nicer sofas that match the hotel design a bit better.

natural coffee beans would help a lot

friendly staff, cozy environment on the territory of the hotel, cozy garden, places to relax nice beach with a bar, not far away, organized transport from the beach to the hotel, but not difficult to walk delicious varied food, the presence of various entertainment programs for children and adults, separate areas for children, a separate children's pool with a playground

the hotel is a little short of 4 stars - rather 3 solid European stars. Poor soundproofing of the rooms, you can clearly hear people talking in the next room, flushing the toilet, in the evening you can clearly hear the music on the street. The ceiling in the hallway and bathroom, the front door and the door to the bathroom are made of cheap materials, poorly fitted to each other, there are cracks and gaps. Regardless of the number of guests, only one key card is issued per room, which is extremely inconvenient. There is no real bean coffee on site, only a cheap instant substitute. Wi-Fi works in most cases stably, but the speed is low and sometimes drops very low, in the diet there are no dishes from lamb or beef at all

Great value for money for families with young children

Hotel, staff and surroundings were great, We always used both outdoor Pools, Use of the spa functions offered were amazing, The entertainment program did their best throughout the day, and evenings Hotel and beach location just right distance apart. Will definitely be using this hotel again, Very big Thank You to all the staff working here.

(This was not associated with the Labranda Hotel). Had a rude encounter with another hotels security guard (adjacent Labranda beach area) when visiting the beach in the evening, telling us we cannot use their pathway as it is a private beach and we could only get by by using the shoreline if we wanted to walk in the Side\Manavgat direction. (Did not appreciate being spoken down to like a potential criminal). Dinner time food (mains) became somewhat repetitive after a few days but taking into account it is a buffet style service, was a pleasure using the local restaurants surrounding the hotel.

The staff at the hotel were absolutely amazing. They were always willing to help. The kindest, most friendly people ever.

The elderly Germans. Unfriendly, don’t ever greet, make you feel like you don’t belong the way they stare at you blankly.

The Staff was very helpful and nice. The food was good

We got an wrong(1 single bed + a double instead of a three single beds) Room first, it was changed after the first night. Then the electricity went out two times it took them almost an hour to fix it. Then the flush stopped working that took them a few hours. The roof in the bathroom leaked. The worst was they changed our dinner reservations without telling us which was very unfortunate and pure disrespectful. I did not see more then one pool and no fitnessroom
