the room was full of mosquitoes, bugs and ants that I haven’t ever seen in my life!! the smell of the room and toilet was horrible and sooooo bad!!! the TV keeps on suddenly even though we kept closing it!! we are here to take rest and unfortunately we couldn’t sleep because of noise from outside, suddenly they started construction

The staff was very warm. The hotel is basic, but nice, and very local in its feel.

Unfortunately, there was a problem with our plumbing - the shower stopped working mid-shower and the toilet would not flush properly. This, unfortunately, held great weight in our overall comfort.

Staff were all excellent. The manager helped us sort out car insurance, which was a very personal touch. Great breakfast, pool and room. A lovely stay thank you!

The add-on "Beach" in the hotel's name is perhaps a little misleading: yes, the beach is there, very close even, BUT it is narrow, a bit polluted by plastic waste and not at all suitable for swimming or sunbathing. Nevertheless, the view from our two rooms was excellent due to this proximity to the water line (for people with light sleep: be aware of the sound of the sea waves). Not so attractive bathing atmosphere at the small scale swimming pool. The large enough car park is just outside the building = easy to transport luggage to the elevator and the rooms. Breakfast is served buffet style, very Indian, not much "intercultural choice". All major tourist attractions of Sur are within 5-10 min driving time.

The door locks are a bit old fashioned with these often jammed keys or locks – however, soon you know how to handle these doors...
