The location was excellent, and the staff was outstanding. The clerk at the front desk went above and beyond in pointing us in the right direction, offering us advice, and helping us when we needed it. It made all the difference. The in room air conditioning was also a lifesaver.
The water pressure in the makeshift shower (a hose attached to a bathtub faucet) was weak and leaky, which made showering a challenge. It was lovely having a private bathroom, though it was a tight squeeze to maneuver between the sink and toilet.

The lady at reception was friendly and helpful (not so much the young man). The room was airy with a high ceiling and looked out on the grounds of the British Embassy.
No coffee or tea making facilities. Ancient lift- make sure the outer door closes. Room painted a rather striking lemon, apart from where the plaster had cracked.

Uneven and uncomfortable mattress. Rooms and hotel in general very tired and needs a full refurb
