A great place to stop in Albury

Lovely property, a short walk from town with a pool. Very nice room, massive TV & large room. My rate included breakfast which came with a choice of cereals & toast. The room has a microwave, coffee pod machine, milk, water & breakfast fruit in the fridge & a large bathroom. The bed was very comfy with a range of pillows to choose.

Overall i enjoyed my stay.

This was my second stay at Meramie and the staff are so lovely. I arrived late from Melbourne this time and they kindly arranged for me to grab my key from a keybox. Travelling and staying somewhere as a young girl alone is always a bit daunting but I always feel really safe here. Mel even made sure I had bread in my room ready for the morning.

Last time I stayed the room was immaculate. This time it was fine but there were LOTS of spiderwebs dangling from one corner to the other and all in the windows in the shower. It wasn't a big deal but I feel it could have been dusted.

Will stay again when we are in Albury

We were met by a very enthusiast staff member who gave us instructions on what to expect and advise on where to go to dinner. We visited the Star Hotel twice during our stay and the food was excellent and within walking distance of the motel

Old Tired Dated

Was conveniently located to the venue we attended for the week

Was old and tired, needed some TLC We rented a 3 bedroom unit for privacy for my partners carer, however privacy was impossible as the only room in the unit with a door had NO aircon and it was dreadfully HOT and for the 3 room unit there was only 1 bathroom and it was within the main bedroom The other 2 beds were located in the room that contained the kitchen table and kitchenette so they were pretty useless Had to go up 16 stairs twice a day with my completely blind partner however I was made aware of this prior to arrival BUT when speaking to the gentleman at motor inn on the phone and me telling him we needing the multiple rooms for privacy for my partners daytime carer I was never told that privacy was non existent in the unit with NO DOORS on the rooms and only 1 toilet within the main bedroom Also they advertise free breakfast,, well I’m not real sure how hygienic the free breakfast is! Slices of bread in ziplock bags placed by who knows who and if they was hands used gloves,, jars of cereal poured from original packaging into jars that again didn’t seem very hygienic as you don’t know how long it’s been there or if they top up old cereal or if it’s left over from other guests Needless to say we opted NOT to eat the subpar breakfast provided, they would be better off offering no breakfast in my opinion For $2,300 for 6 nights I was not impressed to say the least and I would probably choose somewhere else when visiting the area in the future

Happy stopover

Manager went out of her way to contact us before we arrived to check our needs after the disabled room we booked had been damaged the night before our stay. She was also very friendly and helpful on our arrival.

Cheap, nice, decent sized room, great TV, great swimming pool.

I really enjoyed my stay, Big Screen Google TV, nice swimming pool, breakfast included, and I think it was the best value and nicest room for our whole trip. I'll be staying there again next time I visit Albury.

Filthy stained sheets. Were transferred to another room. Again the sheets were not clean. Room dirty. Bed uncomfortable.

Perfect for a stay with a pet.

Nice big and very clean room. Lots of little touches which make the stay more enjoyable. We were on the ground floor and we were able to have our puppy with us. An extra bonus even with the additional cleaning fee.

A little bit of noise from the rooms on the first floor guests.

Overnight rest stop

We were traveling back from a very tiring fortnight sorting family stuff and needed a comfortable rest stop. This place exceeded our expectations. The bed was so comfortable and the room was so spacious and clean. It is an easy walk into town for dinner. The pool looked very inviting but we didn't have our swimmers with us.

The rooms are a little dated with the curtains and lights but very well maintained so this is not an issue. Lots of other modern conveniences have been added.

We enjoyed our 1 night stay and thought that Meramie Motor Inn provided excellent value for money.

If you like 70's decor, then this Motel is for you! The room was very clean and well appointed. The King bed was very comfortable. The inclusion of a Nespresso "pod" coffee machine was appreciated. My husband enjoyed a swim in the pool.

Great value and location

I’ve stayed at Meramie 3 times in last 3 months. I really like it. The rooms are big and comfortable and it’s only a few blocks from freeway on ramps to Melb or Sydney. Short walk to shopping mall. No traffic noise at motel.

Great motel but needs new cleaners

The location was great walking distance to anything . The rooms were a great size heaps of space .the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and friendly

The only thing I can think of is that the cleaning staff are not doing a great job of the room the one we had had mold in the bathroom on the roof also the front window had a lot of dirt dust and spider webs .. so I don’t think they are looking to hard and are letting the owners down . All so the people who was there with us there room had a bad curry smell to it

Excellent Stay at this hotel

The cleanest, crispest sheets I have ever slept on. Comfortable bed, large room and a few extra tiny surprises. A thoughtful little light breakfast supplied to top it off. Great stay - thank you Meramie Motor Inn.

Very good value, comfortable and accessible. Recommended.

We stayed in the accessible king suite which has a wheelchair accessible bathroom with handrails. It made the stay easier and safer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Close to central Albury, quiet and very good value for money.

Once you've had a shower the bathroom floor stays wet for a while, including the path to the toilet. A large non-slip mat would be useful.
