We absolutely loved our stay here. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping back to a time when hospitality was done properly, with genuine care, quality, and charm. The property has a beautiful, timeless character that makes you instantly feel at home.
The views are incredible, and the location is the best of both worlds: close enough to restaurants and everything you need, yet tucked away enough to feel completely removed from the bustle of everyday life. The bed and bedding were out of this world - we slept deeply, with no noise or light disturbances, and honestly could have stayed snuggled up all day.
Our only regret was not booking a longer stay. Book at least a couple of nights because once you're there, you won't want to leave.

The location is convenient, about a 10–15 minute drive from central Queenstown, with easy parking right outside the room. The host was very friendly, responsive and helpful. The view over the gorge is absolutely beautiful. I especially recommend the breakfast. It’s NZD 30 per person, generous and absolutely worth it.
The room was a little cold in the morning as the central heating wasn't on during our stay, although the electric blanket kept the bed warm. There was also a slightly musty smell in the bathroom.
Otherwise, everything was great.

The location above the Shotover Gorge with views to Coronet peak was stunning. The spa pool was hot and the breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. The bed and the decor were lovely and the bathroom had a beautiful tub in addition to the walk in shower.
