The position at whitby Outlook and feel of the garden staff friendly food good
We slept well the bed was comfy

The room was a rather dark, with one small window, but clean with a good en suite and beds were comfortable - I'm not sure why there is a need to tuck the duvet in so tightly - a workout each evening just to get into bed! Staff were lovely, helpful and cheerful. Breakfast was good and very generous. Evening meals were good. Hotel is dog friendly, including the restaurant where there were a good few dogs at every mealtime. We are not dog owners but soon got used to this as they were all, for the most part, well behaved and nice to see... and maybe feed the occasional tidbit, with the owners permission.
Good to see there was an on-site car charger for our electric car.
Lovely outside space with ponds and views over the countryside.
Better lighting in the room would make a difference.

It accommodates dogs
It’s cost us over 200 pounds a night and breakfast wasn’t included very disappointing
