Good eggs at breakfast. The dining area was lovely. The atmosphere was good with lots of locals.
The Sunday lunch was excellent. The barman was the best I have ever watched.
The shower was very small, no elbow room. The pillows were flat. The ladies toilets in the bar were poor and not very clean. Limited parking.

The room was ideal for a family with a dog, double bedroom and separate twin room with one bathroom for £210 on a Saturday night. The room was like a motel room off the car park and was a very practical.
The food wasn’t great and the service was disorganised. The menu was a little odd, was hard to find something any of us fancied it was a strange mix of options - there was no chicken breast or steak and ale pie left by 730 when we were ordering. The chicken burger was not nice - the chicken was in a tempura batter and then in a bread bun so was very greasy. The chips were ok. Steak was cooked very well as was the duck, fish pie was ok. Breakfast was poor - poached eggs with the full breakfast rubbery with overcooked yolk to the point of inedible, continental table had very little choice. Service was good at breakfast.
