Exceptional

The place just exceeded our expectations. First it was the room that had a balcony and sea view. Just an amazing view of Caldera. Every evening we were able to watch the sunset. Second, the staff are super helpful and super kind. From the customer service point of view, easily 10 out of 10.

Extremely overpriced…at £300 per night was expecting better facilities.Reception and breakfast area really in need of updating.First impression therefore disappointing,before even being shown the room.Unable to purchase a drink coffee/alcohol after approx 9.30pm when Pool Bar Closed.

Fantastic stay with excellent views

Received a very warm welcome. Breakfast was superb. Loved the special each day. View and location of the hotel is fantastic. Perfectly situated to visit Oia, Fira, Firofestani, and Imergoveli. Single pool facing rooms had a fantastic view from the window and directly opened onto the pool. Clean and modern rooms with comfortable beds and duvets and good air conditioning. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Transfers were offered from the airport. Comfortable sun beds by the pool. Reasonably priced in comparison to other hotels with a view of the caldera.

No TV in pool facing single rooms but this was already stated on their website. You were not able to drink your own drinks by the pool despite having no balcony and our room directly facing the pool. The music around the pool was sometimes a bit loud. Limited sun beds around the pool.

This place exceeded expectations. The staff went above and beyond for us including booking all our transportation, beautiful breakfast every morning with nice little letters and making us comfortable by the pool with drinks service watching the breathtaking sunrise. I will be definitely be coming back and recommending

fantastic hotel in fantastic location

fantastic location. amazing views of fira and sunsets from the pool area. George in the bar was excellent- we spent two evenings having pizza and salad from the pool bar watching the setting sun. reception very friendly, lovely breakfasts. close to some excellent restaurants and on the main thira- oia pathway.

quite a few emails from hotel before we arrived wanting passport details and estimated arrival time.

A Santorini Dream

Incredibly generous and kind hosts. Every member of the staff was delightful. Very quiet property with great views! The room was incredibly spacious and the bathroom was beautiful. We loved hanging at the pool with George the bartender!

Relaxing stay

Superb view of the caldera and great location, just a 15min walk from Fira. We like that the area was more quiet so it's really relaxing in the evening as we watch the sunset. We loved the breakfast and the daily special, the food was great! Thank you so much to the team for making our stay such a great one!

The rooms were a little small and we would've loved to have some bedroom slippers provided

Wonderful location, just outside of the busyness but close enough to walk to everything. The rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was delicious and I loved the daily special. The pool and deck over looking the caldera was incredible!

The location was amazing. But the bathroom was very small.

The hotel features restaurants and bar. When we reached there it was not the same. They don’t have any restaurant and there use to be a bar which is not open this year. I feel it’s better to put it out upfront.

I know there are drainage issues on the island, but it was rather unpleasant when our bathroom sink just stopped draining.

We were delighted with our choice of venue and accommodation.

There was a great choice for breakfast, and it was all of a good quality. Every day we were given a different homemade Greek pastry, pancake or yogurt to try with our breakfast. All delicious.

The bathroom was very small.

After some research I thought Firostefani would be a good option to stay in Santorini and Villa Ilias was the best option at the time of research. Just a short walk to Fira. The staff was so nice, Nefeli gave great advise for Catamaran cruise. The breakfast was so fresh and delicious. All the small touches such as daily advises on what to do on the island were so sweet. The room we stayed was just in front of the pool, it didn't bother us. In fact it was convenient. The sunset from the swimming pool area was so pretty. We stayed 3 nights there and we find that's the minimum to have a nice experience and not rushed. I hoped we could have stayed longer, but in that case we may have stayed in another part of the island such as Akrotiri to experience a different vibe.

It was all perfect.

Perfect stay in Santorini

What can we say about Villia Ilias? A perfect place to stay in Santorini! We stayed here for 5 nights. Room is very clean. Everyone is super kind. Breakfast is excellent, more than enough varieties, every morning everything is fresh, and the daily specialty is just the cherry on the top, delicious homemade surprises. The views are unreal, breathtaking, better than you can imagine. Pool is very clean, it’s nice and refreshing on a hot day to cool you down. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around. Walking distance to Fira centre and only 15-20 minutes to Oia by car. We couldn’t wish for a better place to stay and we still talk about it how perfect everything was. Definitely recommend it to everyone. Thank you for all of you that you made our holiday simply PERFECT, we will never forget it.

Receptionists were very friendly, lovely room, great view, delicious breakfast and coffee, quite clean.

Njoy your stay in santorini with villa ilias

I really satisfied with the quality of Service provided by villa illias.. They allowed early check in(depends on availibility of room) also guided us very well on the major spots to visit in Santorini. Also, staffs are really friendly and helpful. Now coming to the other features of hotel, it has got a wonderful caldera , city, seaside view from balcony..also a nice pool. Breakfast was really good all days and airport transport was also arranged.. They strictly follow covid 19 restrictions.

They can improve the pool little more..Inside dining is not that great as we can see lot of flies roaming around.. Even then, they have kept the rooms, kitchen neatly. Also, any additional requests, they will try to serve at their best...

Would definitely recommend to anyone, it's close to Fira and a bus/taxi/beautiful hike away from Oia

The view was incredible, we could see the caldera and the volcano. The breakfast was absolutely delightful each morning. The staff was incredibly kind and very helpful.

I really don't have any complaints. If I had to dig for something using keys to enter the room was not as easy as using a key card, but it's also part of the charm.

Amazing stay! Caldera views on a budget. Will be back again.

Thank you to Christina and Katrina at the front desk. So helpful and kind and they really cared about the guests. The breakfast was INCREIBLE and the view from the communal area was also INCREDIBLE. Forget restaurant reservations just get a bottle of wine and a gyro and enjoy the sunset from your own balcony. So close to town and walk to Oia from the hotel was about 2h and absolutely beautiful. Will be back thank you!!!

Nothing. Everything was perfect. Room was slightly small and walls were a bit thin so bring earplugs in case you have an occasionally noisy neighbor like we did but honestly if you are on a bit more of a budget and want to stay near fira with a Caldera view, you won't find a better place!!
