Location to Guangzhou East rail terminal, ideal when coming thru from Hong Kong on high speed train, easy maneagable walk even with suitcase.
Plenty of restaurants in local area to choose from.
Metro system easy to use too.
Breakfast setup was not the best. Offered choice of 1-2-3 styles of breakfast, all just put on table. Not cooked fresh.
Had issues with using Mastercard on Alipay, it declined 2 cards. Beware!
Beds quite firm, but we survived.

Bel hôtel avec de très belles chambres. Mais ce qui fait sa qualité, c'est le personnel : souriant, accueillant, agréable et efficace. De l'Accueil jusqu'au personnel du petit-déjeuner, en passant par le personnel d'entretien, toutes ces personnes ont été extrêmement sympathiques et professionnelles. On garde un très bon souvenir d'eux.
Le bruit ! Nous avons passé 4 nuits à ne pas dormir à cause du bruit. Et pourtant, en arrivant dans les chambres, et ne pas entendre un seul bruit de klaxon (contrairement aux autres hôtels dans lesquels nous avons logé) nous a fait dire : "serait-ce le meilleur hôtel de Chine ?". Et bien non, hélas, les bruits venaient de l'intérieur ! J'ai même cru à un moment donné qu'ils avaient installé la salle de sport au-dessus de nos chambres... Et le système de fermeture des portes qui claquent à chaque sortie des clients : infernal !

It’s located near Guangzhou east station. It’s clean and relatively quiet. Staff are helpful. You’re not staying here as a first choice, but it is budget and close to the station for the fair and high speed rail connections. It’s the very definition of “it’s fine”. Make sure you get a non-smoking room.
