Pure disappointment

The location of the apartment was quite convenient. It was within walking distance of the metro station and even the city center. There were also grocery stores about five minutes away on foot.

However, we had several serious issues. We stayed for four nights in January as a family with a small child. Although I clearly indicated the number of guests when booking, the company managing the apartment initially refused to provide a pillow and towels for my child, even though children stayed for free. When we arrived in the evening, the apartment was not ready for comfortable living. It seemed that the heating had been turned off before our arrival, and the place was extremely cold. There is only one thermostat in the living room, and it did not work well. As a result, the bedroom never warmed up enough, and my child and I had to sleep in the living room while my husband slept in a tracksuit under a blanket. The kitchenware was either dirty or damaged. I had asked in advance about a hairdryer and was assured one was available, but after washing my hair I discovered it only blew cold air — the warm and hot settings did not work. To be fair, the host provided a new hairdryer the next day. The sofa in the living room is acceptable for sitting, but very uncomfortable for sleeping, as you can clearly feel the frame and bars underneath. The host felt quite stingy, as the apartment was lacking even basic essentials. There was no coffee, no cooking oil, and no shampoo. In my opinion, such small necessities should be available in every rental apartment, since they are inexpensive to provide, last a long time, and help create a much more welcoming experience for guests. I would recommend that the host consider changing the management company, as they seemed indifferent to both the condition of the apartment and the comfort of the guests.

Not newly renovated

The location, good connection to everything, the flat is good equipped, with a hair dryer, iron, simple wash stuff, washing machine, kitchen with dishwasher,relatively clean, but one see that for example the washing machine was not wiped from dust long time. Not hot in summer because of thick walls. Good Internet,the owner answers relatively quickly in case of problems.

I would not say this is NEWLY renovated flat. The pictures in booking were made maybe after renovation,but it was long time ago. Now it is not like that and I ⁰would recommend to change that. The furniture has a lot of damaged parts,spots und so on. The glas wall in the kitchen is broken. There is a terrible smell on the bath room without working ventilation, so I needed to have it always on. Although the district looks quiet, it is noisy, especially evenings,the neighbours were selebrating something all my 5 days been there. I'm not so sensitive,but for others, that coul be crucial. The tabaco smells in the corridor and somehow also in the flat(maybe old door), and this is directly in the sleeping room as it is just near the entrance.. I couldn't sleep there and moved to the living room. But for 3-4 people that won't work.
