I loved how accommodating the staff were to late check-ins (1am +)
It is a family run hostel and they make sure you all feel welcome and safe.
The neighbourhood of Mestre is extremely well connected to Venice and Marco Polo airport, however, it felt a little bit unsafe in the night time. This is of no fault of the hostel, noted.

The room and bathroom are very clean. Easy to access to Venice.
Since it’s located residential area, there are not many restaurants around.

Clean. Host (male) was kind and friendly. Excellent location for visiting Venice. Train station walking distance. Supermarket walking distance. Free parking for car in the yard. Family room was large. We used shared toilet and shower - they were always vacant.
The host (lady) was awkward. We dared to ask if the city tax was already included in the amount we paid through booking.com and asked for the receipt for the cash payment she requested. All her answers were snappy after that - we found this unpleasant and unprofessional. Our food was taken from the fridge although we had labelled it clearly as requested. Hotel staff claimed they hadn't binned it, so it must have been smb else. How desperate must someone be to steal random leftovers from the common room fridge. There was a kettle in the common room but no sink.
