This is the second time we have stayed at Surfside and we will definitely be coming back. It is clean and well equipped. The bed is very comfortable and the view is gorgeous. Just a short stroll to the beach. Plus our pup loves this place too!

We booked this unit at the last minute for a weekend getaway with our small pup. It's a peaceful, cozy spot with a great layout and direct beach access, and it was perfect for our needs. The only real downsides were that checkout was needlessly early (10a), which cut short our morning beach walk, and that the WiFi was pretty dismal - not a place where you should expect to be able to do Zoom meetings, etc.
That said, it felt like a very great value for the cost, our dog felt right at home, and we had a delightful time watching the storms roll in from this lovely little apartment on the sea.

Condo was spotless and very comfortable. We took our dog and forgot his food & water bowls so were happy to find them supplied. Very quiet neighborhood, short walk over dunes to the beach. The screen door on the slider was stuck but property management sent someone over right away to fix it. Very satisfied.

The shades to the back door were cumbersome to deal with as you have to pull them up to exit and down for privacy; making ease of access to the green space and beach difficult. It would be worth the investment to get lighter window coverings. The tea kettle could be replaced as it has rust inside and we opted to not use it. The fully stocked kitchen was great for meals at home. Good location to town and activities. Will come back again!

This is a beautiful location and it's kept nicely clean. There is obviously no ongoing maintenance of the property. There is a crack in the skylight window, lights that don't work, grout missing around the tube with some signs of mold and other minor issues that show a property begging to degenerate because there is no maintenance being done.

The condo and location were great— just as pictured. The internet was clearly split among way to many units, and it would rarely even load a basic website (much less let you watch a show on Netflix). The unit should not be advertised as having internet because it literally does not work— we had to create hot spots with our phones to google local hikes, etc. Other than that, we really enjoyed the stay.

Very quiet and comfortable. My only issue was that even though dogs are allowed, it was not stated where our dog could use the bathroom. Beach is off-leash for dogs! We had a great stay here and will be back again.

Only odd thing is the entry door is shared with neighboring unit so bringing in luggage was a little tricky but not too bad. Place is dated, could use a new sofa not the most comfortable. Also could use a nicer bed spread (alternative fluffy down would be nice) just a few suggestions to make it cozier. Gliding chair was comfortable though liked that with the ottoman. We ate out, so didn’t use the kitchen much but if we did it had all the things to make cooking very easy to do. Stocked up well. Fireplace isn’t a real one it is electric. GREAT ocean and wheat field views! Very peaceful and restful place! Thank you for sharing your home away from home!

So you can imagine my fear when opening one of the cabinet doors and a screw falls on the counter. The cabinets are unbelievably bad! Otherwise great although none of the basic condiments present (salt). Otherwise love the condo.

We arrived to a dirty condo. The bathroom was dirty, looked like they put clean towels out but that’s about it. The shower curtain was moldy and the toilet was dirty. I could go on. We contacted the management company and was told they where sorry and would bring a new shower curtain and asked if we wanted the bathroom cleaned. I told them I already cleaned it. They brought a curtain, not a liner (pictured sent to them was a moldy shower liner. I should of said liner.) I tried contacting them again, and was sent a message saying their local team would fix the issue. They did not get back to us after that. We ended up buying a shower liner, and bath mat (there wasn’t a bath mat.)
The main floor hadn’t been swept either. There was dog hair everywhere, even on the stovetop. Dried dog urine in front of the couch. Again, I could go on. We spoke with the general manager of the rental company and was refunded our cleaning deposit.
The bed was also terrible. It’s a platform bed with mattress topper that came to my knees, I’m 5’3”. When you laid down you felt like you where laying on the floor. We also purchased a new mattress topper, but didn’t help at all.
The longer we where there the grosser we felt and would never stay again. We did end up leaving early because it was so uncomfortable and felt dirty the hole time. Needless to say, the place needs deep cleaned and a new mattress!
The only good thing was it’s a good location and walking distance to the beach.

The only negative is the renter next door(#204) refused to put a leash on their dog or clean up after it. Rules are posted everywhere too. This was a great location in a quiet area. The unit was clean, kitchen was well appointed, and we really loved our stay BUT 10 nights on that mattress was rough. That was our only knock on this place. The memory foam topper needs to go and be replaced with a decent mattress.
