Stunning location, very cosy and comfortable.
With the cottage being fairly remote, it would be helpful to have a really well-equipped kitchen. Eg proper bread knife, non-stick frying pan, sharp knives, kitchen roll, modern cooker, salt and pepper.

Lovely cottage in great location. The host Edward was lovely. Fantastic availability to walk around the estate.
The fuel charge was a shock and felt a bit excessive. Felt a little damp and kitchen stocking a little limited. Don't get me wrong, I love eclectic but somethings were missing.

This property is in a wonderful but remote setting.
Ideal for visitors with dogs, with nice walks. It is clear that the property owner takes great care of the environment and fostering sustainability.
Really nice garden.
Log fire well equipped.
The accommodation is not ideally equipped on the bed front for two couples.
Given the remoteness of the location the rental rate is higher than other properties in the area (something we were aware of when booking)
Fuel charge for 2.5 days in the summer is high
