Trevlig lägenhet med närhet till allt

Vi hyrde lägenheten och hade självhushåll. Sängen var skön i dubbelrummet med tempurmadrass. Ungdomarna delade rummet med var sin enkelsäng. De hade delade meningar kring hur skön sängen var. Ligger väldigt nära Stubnerkogelbahn och det går lätt att ta sig ditt med pjäxor på, ingen höjdskillnad som i övriga Bad Gastein. Mataffären och apoteket ligger 5 min från hotellet. Vi parkerade på hotellets parkering mot en kostnad. Fungerade bra med skidrummet som låg vägg i vägg med lägenheten. Finns en bastu som går att reservera utan extra kostnad. Liten men fullt fungerande. Trevligt boende!

Köket är ett pentry och var inte komplett som det stod i beskrivningen. Det var inte tillåtet att steka då brandvarnaren då gick igång. Fanns två kokplattor, mikro, vattenkokare och kapsel kaffebryggare. Saknade en mera komplett servise. Fanns endast 3 teskedar till 4 personer. Vinglas fanns men glasen var olika, 2 rödvin 2 vitvin. Saknade även konservöppnare och en sax. Saknade flera krokar i hallen för ytterkläder.

the place where this location is is superb as a resort, dreamlike landscapes

I arrived around 10pm and the keys were not left as it was said in the messages, after I called a very nervous and agitated lady came, she told us that we disturbed her at that time, poor as hosts. I do not recommend

Disappointing

Cheap. Good location.

Pay attention to room descriptions! This time I was in a room with so-called mountain view - a super tiny, Paris-style rooftop with no space even to, pardon, piss in the toilet. 2 days I waited hot water from the tap - it did not happen.

We had a good stay despite the inconvenience

The property has a pretty central location, the price was good and the breakfast was simple but good, the staff was welcoming and attentive

The room’s balcony door was broken so we heard noise from the streets and it was a bit cold. Receptionist didn’t offer us a different room even that some were free beginning of the week, their reasoning was they can’t get it fixed due to holidays. It felt like earning money no matter the degraded experience

Staff couldn't have been nicer nor more helpful. Very close to train station, supermarket, chemist, sports shops etc. An excellent base for exploring the upper Gastein Valley

A suggestion for improvement might be to add basic tea/coffee facilities to each room.

Swedes at Lindenhof end of January 2023

The owners and the staff were fantastic😇! Very friendly and flexible. No problems with anything, just easy going. The hotel is perfectly situated and the rooms clean and comfortable! Breakfast was good with a rich selection and freshness. The bar was not open every day but we had a really nice time when we came there. Again, the staff that run the bar were really social and fun😀! Thanks for a good stay and hope to see you week 5 2024👍!

Exceptional

The property is incredibly clean and has been recently refurbished. The owners and staff are very accommodating. The location of the property is excellent for the lifts, less than a 5 minute flat walk to the train station and stubnerkogel gondala. Would highly recommend and return.

Very hard to find fault. We had a Premier room and a bath would have been nice, but we were aware on booking this wasn't an option offered for this room. Perfect otherwise.

The breakfast was good. The view was stunning. I liked the wooden interior.

The balcony was shared with other guests! This was very awkward when I realized my neighbor was on the balcony in front of my bedroom door! The stairs are pretty crazy. There is no AC.

Lovely stay with a great location in Bad Gastein. We arrived by train, and it was a 5 min walk from the railway station. Also the lifts were only a short walk away as well as a big grocery store (Spar). The staff was helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was diverse and tasty and you could have a coffee of your choice. Really enjoyed the balcony of our room, nice views. Would stay here again when visiting Bad Gastein!

Short but easy and enjoyable visit

Location was perfect. Lifts, food store, restaurants, village centre, spa - all near by. And railway station, even if we did’nt need it. Good tips from friendly staff. Rather quiet even if near street and railway.

The best staff!

The view from the balcony was great, the breakfast was really good, and the location close to the railway station is perfect. But the best of all is the staff! So friendly and helpful! Our son became ill and the staff were so empathetic and gave us advice and even helped us calling around to find a doctor. Thank you!

Ok if on a budget. Otherwise not recommended.

Friendly staff, excellent location close to ski lifts and train station.

Worst breakfast I have had in decades (hot plate coffee, fruit punch from powder, not enough buns for all guests), second bed in family room very hard, no shelves or towel hooks in bathroom, but strong urine stench on arrival day, staff changing almost daily, electronic door lock with frequent failure

Traditional Austrian hotel, fully modernised, close to main ski lifts. Great staff, great breakfast!

Super friendly English-speaking staff. Rooms large, airy, comfy, well heated, loads of storage and cleaned daily. Excellent hot/buffet breakfast. Good ski/boot room, easy walk to nearest main ski lift. Short walk to bus stop, train station, supermarket, bars etc in upper town. Brand new sauna and small gym area a bonus. Would stay again.

Other guests occasionally noisy using central staircase early morning / late at night, but to be expected and not a problem.
