The position of the property is good, and it is better than being in the centre of Viterbo - you can eat outside if you want to and the cars are parked off the road. The owner was always available.
The rooms are damp, and there is a musty smell particularly in Room 5.
Rooms do not have windows that can be opened for the passage of fresh air. I opened my window and returned to an even damper room than before.
The shared kitchen is not well furnished with plates, cups etc. In fact we ended up buying our own.
The heating is on a timer for the morning, but only for a short period of time.
Every night we had to telephone the owner to have it turned on. On night 3 he finally explained how the heating in apartment 2 worked, something we all felt could have been done on the first day.
In Room 4 the bathroom door did not close.
In Room 5 one of the plugs doesn't work properly.
We paid an extra Euro200 to stay there rather than in the centre of Viterbo. We all felt the extra money wasn't justified by the condition of the property.
