Will not return due to rude staff with their attitude accusing that I have made up all the stories

Room was ok not much complaint

Rude staff. Check in day, i have requested if it’s possible for late chrck out and was offer a complimentary late check out at 3pm( Connie pan) thought we heard wrongly but both of us hear the same thing a reconfirm again. It’s was 3pm. The night before check out I went to confirm with the staff on duty to ensure that the systems was updated but He was so rude and say that’s not possible and we have to pay for it. (It’s was quite an insult based on his attitude and tone as if we were telling lies). Was extreme upset by his attitude hence overlook to name him. breakfast limited choice was short of staff, we have to look for cutlery b clean the table ourside one day when all tables are used.I have seen pple taking bread n fruits from the restaurant area after breakfast hence 1 morning as we were rushing for train we went for a coffee n bread I ask one of the staff at the reception if I’m able to take some fruit away, well guess what her she say I will not be able to bring their food out! This is totally bad coz her tone was extreme rude as it’s was gentle question! Why are others able to do so and she has to use such a harsh tone .

A good hotel with a great breakfast, and value for money

The location of the property is a little far away from the CIFF location Unfortunately the level of communication (in English) was an issue with the staff not always understanding what you are saying

A good hotel with some flaws

The room was nice, with a working area, a mini sofa, a very comfy bed, a very nice well equipped bathroom. The full-wall window offered a great view from the 35-th floor to the Yuexiu park which we were planning to visit. The breakfast was ample and various, lots of options and good quality food.

Long waiting time during check-in, which is perhaps the Chinese standard. A big disappointment not to find a proper western style restaurant on the spot. The open dining area on the 2nd floor (eat-all-you-can for a fixed price) was crowded and very noisy, felt very uncomfortable. The lounge cafe in the lobby looked much nicer but had very limited dining options and did not serve wine by glass, which is hard to imagine for an up-scale hotel. The outdoor pool was not heated and felt chilly, it was impossible to enjoy it. I have stayed in other DoubleTree by Hilton hotels, and in my impression this one is below the standard.

從香港有直接巴士到達酒店門口, 這是最值得作為入住這間酒店的好處吧。泳池旁的暖按摩池很好, 值得一讚。

酒店位置中矩,距離北京路及地鐵站不算近, 但亦可步行到達。訂房時,有說會被提昇有較好外景和較大面積的房間(47平方米), 但經驗察覺, 並非如是。不似其他地區的同名酒店,這處退房後,再不能享用酒店任何設施(泳池或健身室等)。

Fantastisk beliggenhed og sødt personale. Men alt for dyrt ifht. kvaliteten af værelset/rengøringen.

Concierge mr. Perry var yderst hjælpsom.

Rengøringen af værelset var virkelig dårlig. Ligeledes lugtede værelset af skimmelsvamp og mug. Efter de hvade været over værelset 2-3 gange blev det fint.

Location, staff, room, and breakfast.

What I observed bad that the reservation was breakfast through booking while that not communicated to hotel and they charged it separately

Didn’t sleep well during the stays.

The room is spacious, great view and nice reception.

The mattress is too bouncy that I will be bounced along with my hubby’s move. Really annoying like sleeping at boat. The air-conditioning sounds loud also.

It was well worth it

I hardly have time to write reviews but this hotel exceeded my expectations and I have told everyone that cares to listen to stay here on their next trip to Guangzhou. My room was clean, power shower was superb, the buffet variety was really good too, friendly staff and some could communicate in English. The location is also great, very close to most places I needed to go. Would I stay here again? Yes definitely.

staff is very helpful, especially compliment to Mary (or May) lin, we checked in early, she was very nice to set the clean order early, so we can check in early after an overnight flight
