maybe they can have more options for continental breakfast. and clean the tables better so it doesn’t feel sticky . they

walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops.

Far away from beach and wasn’t fully communicated in the brochure and hotel description . Pool wasn’t good and it’s upkeep wasn’t great with people entering in pool with full clothes and not swimming attire.

The staff were lovely and did their best to accommodate the guests.

Firstly I never write reviews as most hotels I stay in are good and no need to write positive nor negative comments. However I felt the need to write a review on this one! The hotel is tired and rundown and needs a revamp. The rooms were ok. Expensive for what you get. I expected more from a Novotel hotel. The pool area needs work. Lots of kids and the space is not what you would call inviting or relaxing. They don’t wash the pool towels and they stink. Pool bar stuff are lovely. The bedding, linen, towels etc. all need to be replaced. They are beyond life. The rooms need a good deep clean. The gym is old and nothing works. The hotel is extremely noisy and found guests to be running to and from rooms at all hours of the night. screaming, slamming doors etc. Impossible to get a sleep. The buffet breakfast that was offered was a standard buffet breakfast and most morning it was so busy it was like a zoo. the "Head Chef" come around each morning and asked each table how was the food. For the first couple of morning i said "fine"! However in truth, it was cold and horrible. When i gave him this feedback he didn’t like it and proceeded to get me "Hot" food that he put in the microwave. This happened each morning for the rest of my stay, not that i asked for it. Each morning i continued to tell him that the food on the buffet was cold however he continued to dispute this as he had put my plate through the microwave. I did advise him that having cold bacon and chicken sausages would make someone sick. He didn’t want feedback he just wanted to prance around looking like a “Head Chef” serving average cold buffet food. I don’t have anything positive to say about this hotel.

Well maintained property, Clean n Big sized rooms.. well groomed staff.. Good breakfast spread... Lots of options. Child friendly, recommended for families..

Dinner ... Limited options for for non veg... Only two non veg starters... Both fish dishes... Verry similar preparations... Also, only one non veg option in the main course...

Comfortable stay, good facilities, helpful staff and right in the heart of Candolim

The service could have been more prompt. The staff otherwise was helpful. The water slides were down for repair and we were not informed in advance of our coming which was a bummer because we wanted our son to enjoy the slides. I think you need to find a better alternative to toothpaste capsules which are Eco friendly yet effective

the staffs managing front desk are not well trained. very slow and also unapologetic after making mistakes. no coordination between security and front desk. Even before check-in security asked for room number and doesn’t allow car to be parked in the hotel and creates a lot of inconvenience. Frontdesk doesn’t have any control.

Not worth the price

The location was decent and very safe. Beach is a 4-5 Min ride. Property is Decent sized but more like a business hotel then a vacation type

The hotel now looks tired and old. The food / buffets had a decent spread but taste was missing. Also the restaurant was always poorly managed and over crowded

Superb

This hotel is a complete family hotel!! The kids pool is exceptional and so is all the pool staff from the life guards to the security and the bar service. My sister and I were at ease with my 2 year old niece and 5 year old nephew splashing about in the pool as they were well guarded and vigilant. Special mention to Bipul, Nageshwar and Aditya who took care of every basic need. Very enjoyable stay

Not much...

I have been very disappointed by the Novotel Goa Candolim. The noise is permanent. I had to call the reception several times to request the music to be lowered in the lobby, both at night (after 11pm) and in the morning (before 8am). The cleaning is not great. The smell of smoke/humidity in the rooms is consistent. I requested the reception to have a taxi booked on the day of my check out. Ive been asked to go in the street by myself to ask for a cab. Absolutely Not Worthy of the 5 stars shown on the booking hotel page, nor the name "Novotel".

Average at most. Not worth the money

I liked the fact that we were given an upgrade on the room. The property does not use much plastic and even the shower gels, shampoos, etc were sustainably placed in the washrooms. All other toiletries and supplies were wrapped in paper rather than plastic.

Location was closer to Calangute than Candolim. A little far from the nice bars and cafés and quite a distance from the beach. Breakfast was extremely average. Maintenance of the kids swimming pool was quite bad, could see huge gaps where tiles were missing. Not really worth the money that we paid and definitely not up to 5 star standards.
