The staff were amazing. They were extremely helpful and kind and showed great hospitality as family.
Mehmet and his family the hotel owners. And special thanks for Marve who took care of our stay on daily basis.
The location is amazing as well close to sultanahmet, ayasofya, topkapi, basilica cistern and Gulhane park.
Walking distance to tramway T1 which connects you to everyolace in istanbul.
Breakfast was also good and the rooftop view is beautiful.
Strongly recommened and best value for money.

This hotel is a gem for travellers that want to stay 5 mins away from main Sultanahmed landmarks while remaining on a budget. The hotel is run by a local family, and it's obvious they pour their hearts into their guests experience. We will definitely visit again. Also, the property features a restaurant with the best lentil soup we ever had.
Rooms are small and a bit worn out, but still clean.

10/10 Exceptional stay – Zulfu is a true superhost!
Our stay at Safir Gold Istanbul was fantastic from start to finish. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and perfectly located for exploring everything Istanbul has to offer.
What truly made our trip special was our host, Zulfu. He is a genuine, authentic host in every sense of the word. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and completely at home. Whether it was giving us invaluable local recommendations, assisting with any request right away, or just checking in with warm Turkish hospitality, Zulfu made all the difference.

The location is perfect! Less then 5 minutes walk from Blue Mosque, and the staff is very nice :)
No hot water in the evening (after 9 pm), moving toilet seat, poor breakfast. All in all, the pictures are catfish. Mould all over the shower and bathroom.
