The beach access. The swimming pool.
The connection with the other hotels.
There wasn’t too many food options at the main restaurant.
Internet works only at the lobby.

I was given the same room as one year ago, and things slightly improved, but this old and tired resort has a long way to go to match competitors such as the Wadi Lahmy Resort much further south. Food is a hit and miss, but the Oriental Evening the hotel had organised was splendid - any efforts they make goes quiet a stretch. It seems the cost is due to Makadi being regarded as a posh location but most guests would probably come because of the convenience.
This hotel is consistently falling behind and requires an update in all aspects. Covered parking would have been nice, too. I hope they soon start implementing the Ministry's directives on making Red Sea Resorts green, this hotel will benefit from these regulations; having the water run for up to 10 minutes before it gets warm is not acceptable for any place in the desert.

Beach area.
Rooms cold and drafty, poor condition of room facilities, no pool view because of trees, which we paid extra for. Food choice not great, bar area external with no interior warm areas to sit and enjoy. Bar area very noisy until early hours 0230 some nights. Music played around pool area very loud and suitable for only young teenagers. Paid for room upgrade but items which should have been included was not there eg mini bar, pool view bigger room, satalite TV. Our room was exactly like all other rooms but cost me a lot extra, manager disagreed and offered us a free meal although we were AI !!! Will not be going back thats a definite.
