We rented this home for my mom's milestone birthday. It is a great location, sleeps a lot of people comfortably, and has an awesome deck. The next-door neighbors were having a celebration, we were able to enjoy their live music. The host wants to please everyone and follow up quickly on any missing items. But, I have a few concerns:1. As soon as I booked the rental, Shauntelle messaged me that the rates had gone up. I really needed the specific dates and location, so I agreed to it, but it did not sit well.2. The check-in info on the VRBO app said to reach out to the owner if missing. Once I did, she emailed me to sign additional paperwork and schedule a virtual check-in. 3. Shauntelle informed me there were no hair dryers and that I should bring my own shampoo/soap/conditioner. She did not mention that the laundry is coin-operated.4. I had to drive down before my group arrived to do a video walk-through of the property with her, which took extra time out of my day.5. Parking that is listed as available in the lot in front costs 150/day. We found it free on the streets.6. She offered me a parking credit if I posted three good reviews that were sent to her first, and she reminded me that she reviews me, too.7. I refused the credit as we found free parking, but she offered me a 200 credit to write a review. I did not accept. It was an awkward situation at best. The house is a little old but clean, with comfortable beds and newer bathrooms and futons everywhere.

The 7bed and 6 bath house was perfect for our family getaway this past week to kick off the summer. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep. Foot steps to the beach, pier and restaurant. Shauntelle was great with making sure we got everything we needed. There's plenty of dine ware and cooking items. Bathroom was nice and newer. Beds were real king size Beds. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out through out the house.

The kitchen was great It was missing Clorox wet wipes.But we asked and received them right away.

We had an incredible stay at this oceanfront Newport Beach home while attending our daughter’s wedding. The beachfront location was unbeatable—we even hosted a catered brunch for 80 guests just steps from the beach house, which made for a truly special and stress-free celebration.The virtual check-in process was incredibly helpful, it walked us through the home’s features and allowed us to settle in quickly and focus on the event. Her local recommendations and VIP concierge services for dining, shopping, and activities elevated the experience to a true resort-style stay.Without a doubt, this was the best vacation rental experience we’ve ever had. Highly recommend both the home and Shauntelle’s outstanding service.
