It was one of the best stays I've had in Sri Lanka! There's no better way of saying it. The hosting family is exceptionally kind and helpful. Food was abolutely authentic Sri Lankan. I'd recommend Shine park for anyone who is looking for truly authentic Sri Lankan hospitality. Location is great too. It is just few minutes of driving to major attractions /20-30 minute walk
Just two things, Our room didn't have a mosquito net or a towel rack which I think are need for a tropical country and the door lock in our room was broken. The room my parents stayed had a mosquito net and the lock was fine. Towel rack was not available.

the double bed room was big and comfy. bathrooms
were big as well. air cons and fans working. the lady that manages the place is lovely and fun, she prepared some breakfast for us in the morning when we return from the safari. there is possibility to organise the safari with her husband. you also have a burger place in front of the house and in 100m
you have many restaurants. for what you pay this place is a great deal.

Ringrazio questa bella famiglia per l’ospitalità e per avermi accompagnato in giro come un figlio. Prezzo decisamente ragionevole.
Purtroppo non ho chiuso occhio la notte a causa delle zanzare e in bagno c’era una blatta. Nella stanza non c’era sapone e solo un mezzo rotolo di carta igienica. Sarebbe gradita anche la presenza di un asciugacapelli!
