After 4 weeks of living out of hotel rooms and air bnbs this finally felt like a homely experience for our young kids.
This is a fun apartment across 2 and a half levels with a pretty steep spiral staircase separating the ground level sleeping and living area to the “basement” larger area with the kitchenette, bathrooms and living area. If you weren’t very mobile this place might not suit you but as a young Aussie family we loved it. The kids could be kids downstairs without the worry of disrupting neighbouring units and shops.
There was toys and games for them to play including a ps5 which my 7 year old son enjoyed a little too much and the kids loved sleeping in the mez.
We weren’t sure about where to stay to feel safe at Paris but either way a secure government building across the road and the amount of obvious locals who live and relax in this area we never felt uneasy until we ended up at the typical tourist haunts.
Very close to louvre and for people who don’t mind walking we easily managed walking to all first time in Paris touristy places and only one cab which was 12 euros from the Eiffel Tower that was required after a few champagnes.
Close to small supermarkets, great restaurants, an awesome coffee shop next door, train stations, ample shopping and it was great to come home good air conditioning to as it’s pretty hot at the time we traveled.
Thomas the host is very passionate about hospitality and was very warm and welcoming. This was our first trip to Europe so his great English was very comforting after arriving on a late train from London.
He was also very generous with a bottle of champagne and some snacks for the kids for my wife’s birthday.
If you weren’t as mobile as you used to be this unit might not be for you as we were up and down the spiral staircase half a dozen times a day

Great location. And AC was awesome as we hit a heat wave. Efficient use of space in the apartment and having 2 bathrooms was nice for our family of 5.
The description was not accurate from what we booked to what we got. I was very disappointed that booking.com did not address that. You should not show photos for the apartment with big windows when the unit is in the basement. Those photos are not accurate.
