We had the most comfortable, enjoyable stay at St John’s House. We will definitely visit again.

The room, the Peake room, in the stables was lovely. It was warm, cosy, well appointed and full of character. The staff were all jolly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious.

Great location, lovely building, used for other functions so some areas not available for use.

Wouldn't stay in same room as bath/shower in bedroom rather than separate en-suite. Gutter needs fixing as rain dripped off it onto tin roof for 7 hours. Excellent breakfast and waitresses were lovely.

Luxury b and b in the city centre

This is a luxury b and b with lovely public rooms, antique wood furniture in the bedrooms, quality toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities and a good breakfast choice. We were in the Victoria Room, with a private bathroom across the corridor, I don't know what other rooms offer. The hotel is close to the city centre with easy parking at the side and back .

There is a loose drain cover in the road outside that was noisy as cars drove over it.

a lovely lace to stay and would definitely recommend it we will be returning

it was right in the centre of historic Lichfield, it was a lovely property the staff were really friendly and helpful

had a bathroom across from the room and during the night felt like we were disturbing other guests when we used it

Pleasant

Delicious breakfast, attentive staff.

The back facing window in Tottingham bangs and crashes which caused a really awful night sleep, not the first time i have experienced this also.

Nice, but needs a few improvements.

The building was lovely, excellent breakfast and very friendly staff, great location for exploring Litchfield.

Unfortunately no bar, separate bathroom across the hall personally not for me. The room was on a main road and Unfortunately the cars were driving over the broken man hole cover and lastly the room was very hot.

Not bad at all, just not worth it

Bed was so comfortable! Room on the face of it looked gorgeous, so did the grounds!

Reception were difficult to get ahold of, didn't return calls when i left my name and number on multiple occasions. Parking was difficult, but that was a reflection of the other people there and no policing of it. No real thrils for the price point that i would definitely look elsewhere if I was there again for the same price. Missing levels of detail with decoration finish and expectation of "pristine" on cleanliness for the price point. Even at breakfast no one checked to see if we were happy with what we received.

Very enjoyable

Great location, lovely building and room, helpful staff. Allowed us to leave the car in the car park after checkout so we could look around Lichfield.

Great location; spacious room and shower room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Decent car parking.

Run-of-the-mill food. No bar. Bed too firm for me.

A pleasant pad

Nice atmosphere in attractive property. Lovely toiletries.

Room was rather hot and breakfast wasn't as good as anticipated. Noise from other rooms and common parts very audible in own room.
