Location was great. We walked to Da’an Park, and there were coffee shops nearby.
I’m not sure if it’s a Taipei thing but hotels seems to be REALLY expensive for what they offer. This hotel was well over AUD300 per night and yet offered the most basic of rooms, no cupboards, no where to put suitcases, no room service, no in-house dining room (or. So no breakfast), and the lobby looks like a hastily put together office in a regular building entrance. Boutique I get but this wasn’t boutique. That said, it was hard to get anything around the same price point that seemed better. The staff were VERY helpful though.
