We had a wonderful three night stay here along with my parents. It's a peaceful spot just outside of Ella and the staff will book you a tuktuk if needed.
Highlights were two friendly mongoose on the terrace one morning and watching fireflies by night. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable and even got us some avocado for breakfast when requested. The rooms were a good size, always had hot water and were lovely and clean.
Our driver struggled to get the van down the road as locals have built a recycling point and made the road tight at one point. This meant we preferred to use a tuktuk in the evening instead of navigating it in the dark.

We stayed at Wild Resort Ella for 3 days and it could not have been better! Close to the center but still slightly outside, we enjoyed incredible balcony views, silence and so much green while still being in buzzing Ella in no time! Kumara and the hotel staff are so lovely and helpful - they were always just a Whats App message away to help out with tips, organising rides or taking care of anything else needed. The hotel itself is lovely, clean and the pool is amazing - also the breakfast offered was delicious. Upon our leave (at 3 am), we even received a little food care package to take on the way! Thank you for everything, we would love to return!

Awesome service and super friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast. Fabulous peaceful location. Perfect contrast to hustle & bustle of Ella. But resort tuk tuk available any time to drop you in. Great size rooms. Extra duvets were a bonus. Super clean. Superb value as well.

We loved the staff, they were very friendly and helpful. The chef Koumera was very good at his job and to this date, made the best hoppers we’ve tried in SL. The tuk tuk driver Menaka was awesome too where ever we wanted to go, he’d take us.
Firstly - the pool is tiny ( it’s clean though) and the pool area needs to be maintained. The hotel itself is very tired with areas not in use, making it feel like a bit abandoned. The rooms don’t get serviced- bins not emptied and no fresh towels. They could do better !
