Our stay at Pacaya Lodge was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. The views are simply breathtaking, the breakfast was delicious every morning, and the infinity pool overlooking the lagoon is spectacular. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and had a lovely balcony too.
What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was Jonathon. His professionalism, personalized service, and genuinely kind, enthusiastic manner were exceptional. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and his warmth and attention to detail made a lasting impression. He is a real credit to the hotel.
We also loved the opportunity to visit the local high school sponsored by Pacaya Lodge. Seeing the positive impact the hotel has on the local community added another dimension to our stay and made us appreciate the property's mission even more.
A 10/10 hotel with incredible views, outstanding hospitality, and a wonderful purpose behind it—what more could you ask for? We can't recommend Pacaya Lodge highly enough and would love to return.

View was amazing as advertised. Monkeys in the trees. Nice overall property.
6:30am - courtyard music was switched on LOUD - no sleep after that. Lunch burger was pretty disgusting (consistency of a veggie burger) and we even asked "is this meat?"
Wifi did not work in our room but after two requests a lovely lady brought a "booster" to hook up in our room at 9pm.
I can understand that due to Covid there were not many guests - but the price should reflect a bit higher level of quality and guest experience. We stayed in Granada for $50 a night with much better results.
