Everything was just perfect. Our room with a terrace & step down pool felt so luxurious. The staff was outstanding, particlarly Antonio at the front desk. The location was ideal also. Just the experience & respite we needed-

The hotel is beautiful, location is good, gardens and pool area lovely
The food was not good, there was no restaurant available, all in house food, breakfast and dinner was mediocre at best and only buffet style available, fresh meat for the griddle section at dinner was poor and the girl on cooking on the hot plate looked at the two remaining lamb chops and threw them into the bin in disgust, we only managed to get some decent meat to eat for dinner as Frank the waiter told the kitchen manager he had to provide something! Good for Frank! So this hotel is classed as five star but did not live up to the rating except in the quality of the building, some of the reception staff were very lovely but the manager was unhelpful, the water in the jar on reception tasted stale, the pod coffee machine in reception had no water in it, on our second night the beds had been made and the bin was emptied but the tea/milk were not replaced and the cups had not been washed, so housekeeping needs attention as well as the buffet provision.

it is clean n comfortable
the location of the property is one hour by taxi from Cadiz city . in booking.com they wrote the hotel is 800 m from the city center , but they mean tarifa city center not Cadiz so i considered this lying on tourists . so i had to spend one night n booked for another night in another hotel near Cadiz city center . which i consider cheating .
