Lovely hotel, very limited menu in Restaurant

Pool area is lovely, big beds and very clean, room was spacious with a large bathroom and really comfortable beds, the staff were lovely and even delivered a bottle of bubbly for my husband's Birthday

The balcony was small and looked over a building site, I know this is not the hotel's fault but i felt we could have been pre-warned. The Restaurant menu is tiny with two choices for each course, I don't understand why they wouldn't maximise this as we would have eaten in the hotel one night.

Exceeded expectations

Very nice property. Unexpectedly so. Sumptuous breakfast. Restaurant good. Nice pool and deck. Not far from huge beach.

Bed was way too hard.

Everything you need

Modern, well designed hotel. Good size of the room with pool view. Nice bathroom. Clean room. There is a small gym and spa area with hot pool in the basement 👍🏾 All necessary shops and nice restaurants in walking distance.

Very good

The hotel was great, the staff at reception where very welcoming and even surprised my husband with a bottle of cava and kind message as he was celebrating his birthday in a day o so later.

We decided not to take breakfast at the hotel after a very disappointing visit to the restaurant the evening of our arrival. We ordered our drinks in the restaurant and started to Look at the menu. We then ordered our 1 choices of starters and mains only for the waitress to return and tell us none of our choices was available and then to tell us that most of the menu was not available, so we paid for our drinks and left to find a restaurant to have our evening meal.

Very good

Great breakfast.....very friendly staff in the dining room.hotel is large, not the usual quirky tarifa place but rooms very nice. I have stayed many places in tarifa...this was not my personal favourite but I have no complaints.

Superb

Breakfast was excellent and varied. Ground and pool were stunning. Wish we had stayed longer.

Bedside tables had seen better days. Lighting in room was poor for reading

Hotel Tarifa Lances is 4* with brilliant value and service

The room was a wonderful size, huge. The shower was fantastic after we got over the surprise of the glass wall between the shower and bedroom. Breakfast was fantastic. 12€ pp. Service was great. The outdoor pools and seating area was just beautiful. The parking is under ground and totally safe. The hotel is a 20-30 min walk into the centre. But the walk along the beach front was gorgeous with lots of stop off chirrungitos. A great hotel. Definitely recommend it.

I actually can't think of anything that I didn't like. Everything worked perfectly and when we requested more pillows they were delivered immediately. The shower glass wall is certainly different. Maybe one English speaking TV channel would be nice. Its all German, French and Spanish.

disappointing we should have not been sold the room allocated to us but unfortunately we could not be moved as the hotel

facilities and swimming pool were great

our room looked over a building site. we unable to use the balcony as the dust and noise was unbearable. work on the site started at 7 am and finished at 6 pm so we were not able to use our room between these times as the noise was horrific.

Great hotel for a relaxing vacation

Location was close to (kitesurf) beach. Bed was comfortable, room very spacious, bathroom had facial cleanser and lotion bottles (nice touch for a beach hotel). Pool area was like a little paradise. Breakfast had a great variety and made to order omelettes/pancakes. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I loved the breakfast, the delicious cocktails, the nice pool, the very close distance to the beach, the service was very good and helpful, parking was easy, shops and supermarket were near. The room had a closet which had enough space for two. Furthermore, the room was positioned to the road but we couldn't hear any noises. We had a great time.

I personally thought that the decorations inside the hotel room (excl. bathroom, which was really nice) devaluated the room. The lamps, the pictures, and the plastic divan beds on the balcony made the room look cheap. I was a bit disappointed with it, especially because the decorations could have been fixed easily.

Room size was really good. Breakfast was very much worth it.

There is a construction right next to the hotel which is nowhere mentioned. Value for money really doesn't add up this way.

Exceptional

The hotel is very nice. Rooms are spacious and beds are large and confy. A very stylish design throughout the entire hotel give a great atmosphere. The staff are just the cherry on top, great front desk skills! Overall an absolute 10 and would return here.

I do like this hotel but will avoid it until the building works are finished and will probably go to the local café for

it’s located perfectly for a good explore and the beach and the pool area is very nice . the reception staff were very helpful and friendly , and did change our room at a reduced charge due to the building works .

I didn’t like that we were not warned by the hotel or booking.com that there were major building works right next to the hotel and the noise was horrific at 7am every morning. some of the kitchen staff were also rude , mainly the cooks on the egg counter .

Hotel was perfect. Good breakfast and beautiful sunsets in the rooftop bar. Also, Maria the waitress of the rooftop bar, is awesome!! She even recommended good tapas & cocktail bars in town.

We received a bottle of champagne for being there the second time

We received a relatively dark room on the ground floor without view, not as seen on the photos. changing room was only possible for upgrading the booking category :(

the style

i was here multiple times, usually everything is perfect here. last time I was there there was extreme loud music from festival which was 300 m away but was still very loud inside the room until 2-3 am in the morning

We enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect.

The room was nice, the bathroom was also great and a large balcony was good. And the hotel acknowledged a birthday celebration which was a really nice touch. The main pool was great.

The fridge was never cold even through all the settings. We through we were getting a bath. The infinity pool was very small and not really an infinity pool. A small section of it could be counted as an infinity pool. This pool was also only open 6-10. The gym was very basic and the indoor wellness area was also pretty small and basic.
