Very pleasant, great location.

Location

The reason I booked this property was that parking was listed and I was aware that parking was at a premium in the area but parking was a 15-20 min walk away in a public car park.

loved Ortigia

the location was excellent, the beds were very comfortable, the bedrooms were spacious and the showers were excellent. There was plenty of hot water.

There was only a larder fridge, so nowhere to store frozen food or ice cubes for drinks. Sofa was uncomfortable, if we had stayed earlier in the year it wouldn't have been a problem because we would have been on the terrace all the time but in November and December needed a comfortable sitting area for evenings in.

Central location and no more than a 10 minute walk to anything we wanted was fantastic!

The central location, the deck overlooking the sea, the proximity to market and Duomo Square. Old town location couldn’t be better!

There is simply no downside to this hotel where we stayed just 3 nights. We knew the property was too big for our needs, as it clearly was made for a group of at least 4 to 6, but we couldn't pass up the fabulous location and a washing machine too. Having a balcony outside the door offered a spectacular view of the Ionian Sea and the people below having a great time too. All of the sites are easily walkable from this location, and Ortygia itself, is just so awesome!

This was the perfect start to our Italian holiday.

What an amazing view and the location was superb. The apartment was very comfortable and 2 bathrooms was very appreciated.

Great stay in the old town of Siracusa

The sea view from the bedroom and the terrace is great. Everything in the historical center is in walking distance. The appartment is very modern, perfectly equipped and was super clean. The host was caring and very flexible concerning the arrival and departure time. He made it even possible to arrive in the late saturday evening. He helped us with the old town limited car access and showed us in person where to park the best. He was always immediately available in case of questions. On the day of our departure we could leave our luggage at another place in town which made us having a comfortable last day before flying back in the evening.

Did not disturb us but maybe are good to know: The kitchen has no window (the access to the terrace is from the bedroom). The terrace and view are oriented west - therefore no morning sun in fall. There are very few free car parking spaces (20 minutes to walk). If don't find one of them parking costs 18 EUR/day. During our stay there were construction works in the appartment above (as we always left for the whole day it was not a problem). Don't use washing mashine and kettle or hairdryer at the same time ;-)
