Hostel Los Duendes del Sur

I always love to come here I think the best place in the whole island for me . Its full of art the staff is helpful and strict .

I didn't like that I have to climb up on the beds they are not so maintained , as well its always cold there to sleep . Even though I like the people who arrive there and the kitchen area

nice location, close to shops and beaches, very walkable town. Also restaurants and bars nearby. The terrace was nice and the kitchen was rather well equipped. The staff was nice and friendly!

The facilities (kitchen, bathrooms) are provided for quite many people at once, so they get crowded at times. We had to often wait to use the bathroom, oven, or stove. We also randomly did not have water at all for most of the day; which of course is more of a fault of the town management than the hostel. But I wish the hostel showed some initiative by for example bringing a 5L bottle of water for drinking and washing hands, or to flush the toilets, since the hostel is expected to provide water for people staying there.

This was my fourth winter holiday in Tenerife and also my fourth stay in this amazing hostel. This one is certainly my favorite (out of the seven I’ve stayed in, as I like traveling around the island). The atmosphere is amazing and you can meet some very interesting folks there. You can just chill on your own in the lovely garden or meet some new friends, as it is extremely easy to do so there. The people I met were super nice and friendly (yes, including the older gentlemen that some other people mentioned in their reviews). As a solo female traveler, I feel very safe in this hostel. Apart from that, it is close to everything (even a dentist, if you are unlucky like me and a filling falls out!). It is also very clean. And best of all: my favorite staff member, King George! He is the friendliest and most helpful guy in the hostelling world. Thank you very much for making my stay so great!
