The Stables is a lovely space, really warm and welcoming. I had everything I needed and I enjoyed the stay. The bed was really comfortable. Would recommend.

We stopped here for one night on the way to North Yorkshire. We had the whole house to ourselves, which was great. It was clean, comfortable, and close to nature, so it made a nice stopover.
The listing on Booking.com described a "superb" breakfast, but that's not what we found. The provisions were about two spoonfuls of marmalade, some cereal in jars, a bit of butter, a couple of apples and a small bottle of milk. There was also a supermarket loaf with the price sticker still on it, which was quite processed and full of additives. We ended up buying our own breakfast.

Only had a brief one night stay with my dog for an agility competition, but the property had everything we needed and was comfortable, with parking right outside. I'll be booking again for next year.
