beautiful, quiet, and spacious house for family travelling

The appartment is a whole house for rent, it is spacious, and it also located in a beautiful and quiet place. The location is also near the Vatican city, the transportation is convenient. The host is super nice, he greeted us with a delicious panettone, and also recommended us places to visit, event and of course good restaurants during our stay.

The wonderful time in Rome with Le Scalette!

Fabrizio is very polite, friendly host, who met us in airport despite late arrival time. He told and send the reccomendation where to eat, to see and other useful info about Rome. The appartment is so cozy, quiet near Vatican and bus station. Special thanks for terrace! Our time is wonderful! Grazie mille! Ci vediamo a Roma again!

Very good location for sightseeing in Rome

The property is very close to public transport and also walking distance to the Vatican. The kitchen has everything you need, the air conditioning is perfect and it also has a wonderful terrace!

Even if technically can fit max 4 persons, it is designed for a couple, with 3 or 4 it lacks intimacy.

Nice little house with very friendly owners, great for a couple of days in Rome.

Very friendly, helpful and accommodating owners. Well equipped and comfortable. Nice terrace to sit outside in the evening. Well located near the Vatican.

Lucky the one who gets a chance to book this apartment.

Perfect location, a great restaurant near the place (amazing food with reasonable prices), a warm apartment during cold months (there were hot radiators), a well-equipped kitchen, fast internet, renovated bathroom, very comfortable bed and couch as well. The host was excellent and very kind, and very well English spoken.

Lovely Apartment in an Excellent Location near the Vatican

Excellent location near the Vatican. Quiet completely furnished apartment close to bus and train. Lovely apartment. Gaia and her father Fabrizio were wonderful and accommodating!

Everything was excellent. just be prepared to walk up several flights of stairs to the apartment. It’s the only access but it wasn’t bad. I only mention this if someone has limitations walking n

Superb place to stay, just like home!

Goood and convenient location, very close to Vatican with walking distance. The area is nice, peaceful and less busy compared to the city center. The apartment is super cosy and comfortable just like home! Host is super helpful and responsive even late at night when we call. Perfect place for couple or small family. We would highly recommend! Definitely rebooking again if we come back to Rome one day.

It’s a tiny bit cold and there are some mosquitoes, which is somehow understandable due to trees and gardens nearby. So a piece of advice to spray the house before you going out, then the rooms can be clear of them after you get back!

Nice place

It’s situated on a quite street. The host was really nice. Nice terrace, clean place.

There are a lot of stairs until you get to the house and it’s difficult when travelling with big luggages.

Perfect stay for a city break

Cute little house, much nicer and more spacious than expected, would definitely stay there again. Close to Vatican and within (longer) walking distance to all main tourist attractions

Perfect place for a visit to Rome

The appartment is located in a very nice, safe neighbourhood. Vatican city is a 15 minute walk. All other main sights were within an hour walking or easy to reach by bus or metro. The hosts are very nice, super helpfull and respond fast to questions. Airport transfer is also offered for a very reasonable price. Supermarkets and restaurants are close by.

It was great!

Private area, could relax and be outside without seeing anybody. Couch bed is very comfortable and can be left open during the day (enough space in the living room) Water is hot for the shower. We were able to make dinner with the available kitchen supplies. We loved the area because it was more relaxed feeling. Great to visit the Vatican, 15 min walk. It is not close to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill area- there are buses that can take you there or a long walk. Good communication with host.

A few more kitchen towels would be good.

Great stay at Le Scalette

First I will start with the hosts. The hosts are really great people and very helpful.I never hesitated to contact Fabrizio during my stay for even any advise to buy any tour ticket. The house is very clean, beautiful, small however it has everything you may need during your stay. The location is also great. It very near from St. Pierre train station and bus stops.There are local super markets and restaurants also nearby.

Everything was really great in my stay. The owner of the house is a great host. The house is a beautiful one bedroom house, situated after many steps. At fist glance I was little panicked as i was travelling with my mother and aunt. However the steps were really flat, so not at all difficult for anyone.

Exceptional

Above all, Gaia is a perfect host. Helpful, charming, generous, anytime ready to help. The location is great, within a walking distance to Vatican and still peacful and quite. The apartment - a small cosy house with two sitting tables outside by fine weather - fits for 4 people in 2 beds one bedroom and one livingroom with a kitchinette. Modern and clean equipment. We will definitely come back :)

The apartment is within walking distance to the Vatican, but far from the center of Rome

The stairs should be raised sufficiently high, which is not comfortable, smelled moldy in the room itself; In the absence of a kettle, the toilet lid was broken, too. The apartment needs partial renovation
