Great backyard for man's best friend and the kids, plus close enough to the beach to be an easy walk for everyone! The kitchen has a fabulous center bar/work station and has been remodeled since the original property was built and one of the master bathrooms remodeled as well. Easy floor plan too. . .all one level with just five steps up to the entrance. Laminate flooring in the Great Room with lots of space, and two Master Bedrooms for adults! Wireless Internet access (since we know you have to stay connected) and the location is perfect for active families. Ride for miles along the Southern Shores to Duck bike paths along NC 12 or take a leisurely bike through scenic Westside Southern Shores. Close to restaurants, shopping, groceries and family activities. You can have it all in your 'Hidden Gem'. One Level: Great Room with TV, DVD, Stereo, Kitchen with Bar seats 4, Dining Area with Deck Access and Table seats 8, King Master Bedroom with TV; Queen Master Bedroom; Queen Bedroom; Bedroom with Double Bed and Bunk Bed; Queen Bedroom; Hall Bathroom, Laundry with Washer/Dryer. Extras: Wireless Internet Access, DVD player, Stereo, No Smoking, Dogs Allowed, Parking: 4 Cars, Distance to the Beach: 700 ft. All Outer Banks Blue properties provide bed linens and bath towels for a small fee added to every reservation. We provide 1 bath towel and washcloth per advertised occupant. We provide 1 hand towel and 1 bar of soap per bathroom sink. We also provide kitchen towels. Beds are made prior to your arrival, and we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, bathroom soap, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent. The Hidden Gem was perfect for our family stay in the Outer Banks. We rode bikes or walked into Duck every day, drove to Kill Devil Hills and Corolla for crabbing and walked to the beach. Loved our backyard games of cornhole, burgers and wahoo on the grill and eating on the back patio. Deer strolled through the backyard every morning to say hi. Truly enjoyable week.

Property was as described for a group of 6 adults (3 couples). The 5 bedrooms were more than sufficient, and with 3 bathrooms (plus the outdoor shower), each couple had their own. Kitchen was big with plenty of island space and seating. The house was very clean, and was a 5 minute walk to the beach. We will definitely visit this property again!

This Hidden Gem is in on a nice quiet road with beach access 2 minutes down the road. We loved the house! It was so clean and just the right amount of space for us with 2 master bedrooms on either side of the house with the living space in the middle. The kitchen was beautiful with quality cookware and dishes. It was stocked with games, puzzles, dvds, and even a dog toy! We would definitely stay there again!

It’s not much to look at from the street, but this home truly is a “hidden gem”. Two families of 5 (each with a dog) were very comfortable and the neighborhood was awesome for the kids to travel to and from the beach on their own. We truly enjoyed our stay and property management was very responsive and there for us the whole week.
