Everything was geared towards the kids. We went with a 3 and 6 yr old, and got a 2 bdrm suite. Breakfast was included, and there were toys for them to play with in the room and even in the breakfast room!
The adventure zone and amazon water park was also included in the room. The resort complex itself was giant and it had a mall and several food options on site.
Thai restaurant on site is fabulous with a variety of dishes and authentic tasty choices. We went 3 times and enjoyed different items each time.
Everything was looking very run down and in need of some serious TLC: the paint in the pool was peeling off, the furniture and the amenities all looked tired and old.
The furniture in the living space of the suite was totally useless and impractical. We needed up hiding out in our rooms the whole time.
No one spoke any English. Thank goodness for our translation apps on our phones! Even with our limited Chinese, they didn’t even try to understand us.
Every time we turned around, we were being told that we needed to pay extra for something: Amazon jungle was included but it was an extra 70/pp for the lazy river... adventure zone was included but it was an extra 70/child for them to go on the trampolines.... and it went like that for pretty much everything.... throughout the complex the restaurants all have napkins, but a couple insist on charging you 5rmb/napkin, for the same napkins you get for free at another place!
Overall, a lovey place to go with small kids, if you don’t look too closely at the details. We stayed 5 nights, and never left the complex, but I think you really need to speak Chinese to get the full benefits.
