Great location, pretty much everything you need within easy walking distance and very close to the Sunday morning flea market, really easy access to apartment and communication sent through from host easy to follow. Only 30mins ish taxi ride from airport, 30-40mins walk to colosseum, hours walk to Vatican City and 40-50 mins walk to Trevi Fountain and heart of Romes shopping main streets, and yes you could take public transport but we saw sooo much more by walking the little streets
Property was lacking in cups/wine glasses/cutlery and although a lovely big range oven only two of the hobs worked, (in addition to the oven but we knew about that before arrival so not an issue). An extra mirror would have been great in the living room or one of the bedrooms, there was only one on the bathroom cabinet door, not ideal with two teenage girls!!!!! not a deal breaker but hair drier didn't work either.
