One final weekend family trip of the summer. The host (Lindsay) was easy to work with and very responsive. The beach cottage was cozy, clean and just right for out getaway. The beach was visible from the porch and was a short walk away (~2 minutes). We appreciated the chairs and toys/games that were also available.

We had an amazing trip to Galveston. House is just as described and soooo close to the beach! I will say that I am glad we had our own chairs because the ones there are old and rusted. All in all we had an amazing time!

I couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The kitchen is well equipped, there are plenty of beach towels available. Also downstairs they had some beach chairs along with boogie boards, and a wagon for your three minute walk to the beach my family and I really enjoyed just hanging out on the front porch and enjoying our evening strolls. Lindsay was very helpful and just a phone call away. I I look forward to coming back to this house in a couple of years.

The property was really nice had everything you needed except beach chairs. Other than that everything was great. Probably coming back next year

House was decorated really cute! A/C worked great! Bed was comfortable, house was clean & view of the ocean was awesome! Would recommend & would book again.

We had a great time! It was myself, my husband, our two teenagers and two of their friends. Check in/Check out could not have been easier. The property owner was extremely responsive. The bunk room was perfect for the four teens. One of the kids brought their X-Box and having a tv in that room was very helpful. We never ran out of hot water, the AC worked without fail and the rooms were insulated well enough that when the kids were loud, my husband and I could watch a movie in the master bedroom. Having the buggy to take supplies to the beach was super helpful even though it was just a short walk. We Instacart-ed groceries... the only thing that would have been helpful is if the kitchen was stocked with basic seasonings. But if that is the ONLY complaint we are doing great! We had an amazing experience... would defiantly return!

This is the perfect spot to stay in Galveston. Close to a private beach but not too far from restaurants and activities along Seawall Blvd. The house was spotless and the owners have thought of everything you need (kitchen items, beach stuff, comfy couches for movie night, etc). It is technically on the third row but you have a clear view of the ocean because of empty lots (as of June 2023). The porch is the perfect place to enjoy an early coffee or a late glass of wine. The walk to the beach is very short and easy. The beach was not crowded at all. Very quiet and relaxing. We can’t wait to go back!

The house was equipped with everything we needed. And with just a short walk to the beach, it was perfect. The shower outside had hot water and my son (10yr) got a kick out of taking a shower outside. Very nice house, great location! We will definitely be back!

This was a great location and good deal for a family weekend getaway! We like staying more to the west to avoid the "busy" side of Galveston and this did it! Beaches were easily accessible and the house was great for our needs!

We came to check out Galveston to look for an investment property or a possible retirement home. Our rental was fantastic and quite and Lindsay is an outstanding host.

Nice place to stay, a block from beach. If you like to walk or run, good to go either way on beach. Would recommend getting a cheap cooler for hanging out on the beach.

Great experience! I brought my young kids and they loved it, too. An easy three minute walk to the beach (sometimes listings say that and it is not the case - in this instance it is accurate!). Furnishings beautiful yet comfy and kid friendly. Fully stocked kitchen and thoughtful extras like beach towels and toys. Owner was responsive and helpful when I could not figure something out early Saturday morning. Combine all this with the proximity of Bermuda Beach to all of Galveston’s attractions and this is a 10/10!

Loved the house and property, super close to the beach! Quit neighborhood and had no issues! The house had everything and more than what we needed. Would definitely stay again!!!

We had a great time staying at this property. The Host was very responsive. The house was well laid out, organized and clean. The large porch is amazing. Loved the short walk to beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Master bedroom is cozy space with lush bed; four beds (bunk beds) in the second room (top bunks no need for covers). Small cute decor beach house with everything you need. So close to the beach front you can hear and see the waves…morning evening strolls less that a 2-3min walk away. Favorite part turning on to the beach to access the road that leads to the house!

The location was great - just steps from the beach! Overall, the property was comfortable for our family of 5. My kiddos loved the bunk beds especially! The shower was a little tricky with my 5 year old who is accustomed to baths, but he managed just fine. There are generous dressers in both bedrooms, but there are no closets. We used the hooks in the main area to hang a few things and stored our empty suitcases under the bunk beds (no big deal). The kitchen had all that we needed and the beach gear was awesome! Would definitely recommend and hope to come back! Tips: stop at HEB on your way to stock up on food items & be sure to visit the beach at night (our favorite part).

Upon arrival at the property, the curb appeal and attention to detail was clearly present. We stayed at the loft of a 2 area rental which was decorated absolutely to perfection and a wonder design and use of space. I would be interested in seeing it before! The bathroom and living areas were easily laid out and small things like little framed notes letting you know where usb chargers were became the norm. The kitchen was done very well and the location only 1 block away from Schlitterbahn allowed us easy access back and forth without the hassle of parking our vehicle daily. We had a small fuse issue during our stay, but the host was very responsive, had a technician out within an hour and was fixed promptly. My little one calls this “our Schlitterbahn house” now so we will for sure be returning soon.
