I had the absolute best stay at Hotel Arashiyama! I think this was my favorite hotel during my whole trip to Japan. My goal was to have a peaceful stay outside of the busy city center of Kyoto and Hotel Arashiyama exceeded my expectations. The view of the river from my room was phenomenal and that right there already would have made this a great stay. But in addition all the staff were so nice and made me feel so welcome. I paid for the breakfast and the breakfast was so delicious every morning! In addition, the rooms smelled really nice. I would definitely like to stay at this hotel again in the future.

Convenient to bus stop. River and bridge view and no noise as windows were double glazed. Beautifully presented Japanese style set breakfast.
