Large, clean, well presented house. All the necessary bits and pieces were provided such as sugar, cooking oil, cleaning clothes etc. excellent wifi included. The beds are very comfortable. The grounds are lovely and there is plenty of walks close by. Obviously it is ideal for golfers. Great outdoor space for children to run around and play as the communal gardens are huge. Some good restaurants and takeaways close by. Plenty of bathrooms. Ideal for families of groups.
The smoke alarms were very sensitive and piercingly loud. They went off about 4 times every day. When the grill was turned on, when the grill door was opened, when the frying pan heating up. You need to be ready to turn them off by pressing the button.
This would not put me off but it was rather irritating. This house has communal outside areas, this has advantages as the space is huge, but if privacy is very important to you it may be a problem.

Groot huis met drie grote slaapkamers in een prachtige omgeving.
Het huis was verouderd en heeft een opknapbeurt nodig. Ook veel langpootmuggen in de hoeken van de kamers

We loved the property and how quiet the area was for our family.

Kitchen needed more pans/utensils/equipment for minimum cooking - plus salt/pepper/plenty of dishwashing tablets. (when asked it should be supplied without telling guests that “out of thousands of guests only a few have requested more kitchen utensil as they don’t normally cook”.) No hand soap (crucial during Corona virus). No hair dryer which is required by minimum Failte Ireland standard. TV reception very poor. Overall a lot more attention to detail required for 5 star.
