The property was across from the bus station with a cheap fare into Galle. Being across the beach in the heat was brilliant for the ocean breeze.
The coconut Dahl with sambal on the breakfast menu was so delicious and well priced. Other menu items were also great. The hosts were very kind and welcoming.
Plenty of “chill out” areas within the restaurant. We went in low season so it felt like a hostel which was nice.
The accommodation is VERY affordable. You get what you pay for and everything is as described. The shower is in the bathroom with no separation from the toilet. Not a problem at all, aligns with the price.
It would be brilliant to have a fridge to store belongings. Although as it is not a hostel and does have a restaurant I understand why this is not provided. The host was kind enough to put my fruit in the fridge.

The location of the property was amazing. It was right on the beach. Very cute shack vibes. Food was very good. The staff was too warm and hospitable and friendly.
I guess for the price, I have no complaints - but it’s not the most comfortable or cleanest property.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable, with a breathtaking sea view. The beachfront location was perfect for peaceful moments, relaxation, and creating beautiful memories. The facilities and service were excellent. A truly lovely and unforgettable experience!

the closeness to the beach and sleeping on the ocean soundscapes was beautiful.
The family there are very friendly and kind
right next to the bus station wich was way cheaper than tuktuks
I I understand that wooden cabanas by the sea aren’t meant to be fancy, but the photos on Booking are quite outdated and don’t accurately reflect the current condition of the property.
The place is in need of proper maintenance and a thorough deep cleaning. During my stay, there was renovation work taking place on the upper floors, so I hope these improvements will help elevate the overall experience for future guests.
