It is smack in the middle of the charming, ole southern neighborhood known for it diverse architecture, historic waterfront homes and quaint lifestyle. Only 5 minutes (2 miles) to famous Sullivan's Island Beach and Shem Creek. Walk to the Pitt Street Bridge and historic preservation area. Tons of shopping and an abundance of restaurants just minutes away. Beautiful, historic downtown Charleston is only 10-15 minutes away. Best location to see it all ......without the downtown prices. The brick home has been recently updated with a Caribbean flair, decorated with antiques and a tropical style. Open living-dining area with full kitchen, pantry and laundry room. A fabulous fenced backyard with huge oak trees provide a shady retreat from the sun with dining area, BBQ, and outdoor shower. Plenty of parking and a low traffic area renders a quiet and relaxing environment with major highways nearby. Very safe, quiet neighborhood for all ages. My DH and I spent five nights in this small, lovely home in Mount Pleasant. It is immaculately kept and very comfortable. Property manager Deborah has stocked the kitchen and bath with anything you need. She was great to communicate with, too. We felt like we were guests in a much-loved home.

The Old Village Pearl is a great house with a fun backyard and great amenities in a wonderful neighborhood with easy access to many area attractions. It was everything we needed to have a relaxing vacation.

Liked it. It was well stocked. The decor was pleasant and tasteful. Beds were really comfortable. Will be visiting family here frequently and would probably rent this again
