Spotlessly clean, Kitchen well equipped, heating works great. Lovely layout, very quiet and peaceful.
There was Two big chairs instead of a sofa in the lounge. We’re a snuggly couple and were a bit gutted that we had to sit separately in the lounge. The chairs were very comfy but we’d have preferred a sofa for our evening cuddles whilst watching a movie.

What a fantastic home from home! The host has thought of everything you could need and it's evident that she has put a lot of care into Walkers Lodge. The rooms are spacious and well kitted out. You could cook up a storm in the kitchen and the whole place is spotless. Lots of lovely walks and places to visit on your doorstep. We stayed over the Christmas period and there were some thoughtful and kind little touches to welcome us. Also, the most peaceful and best night's sleep we've had in 2 years! We didn't want to leave.
