The location of the property was perfect, lovely views but easy to get into Hay on Wye.
The fresh local produce that was left for breakfast was delicious.
The hosts, Irene and Barry were there if you needed anything.
I travel to Hay on Wye regularly and it was one of the nicest places I have stayed

This place is pure magic. I did not want to leave. Its very well presented, spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a lovely stay. Irene and Barry were amazing hosts, they provided some lovely homemade cakes and everything you could want for a lovely breakfast. They really have thought of everything and it is so comfortable. I found true peace here which is something i struggle to do anywhere. We will most definatley return. Thank you so much. Xx

Our hosts provided us with excellent local produce to use in the preparation of our breakfast and the location was perfect for getting away from it all and relaxing. The quality of the shepherds hut made us feel like we were lucky to have found this location. The homemade muffins were wonderful and the care and attention to detail throughout meant that we enjoyed every minute of our stay.
There was nothing to not like as the shepherds hut was of superb quality with facilities that exceeded those we had experienced only a few days earlier at a hotel. The remote location meant that the only noise was that of the local sheep and a nearby owl who was pretty vocal! Really couldn't ask for a more relaxing getaway

The hosts from the onset were most welcoming and told us all about the surrounding and things we might see, including a deer in the meadow which was pretty much our private space. The property was wonderful well equipped and comfortable. The views were amazing the tranquility was perfect singing birds and the barring of the local lambs was so beautiful al in all this was a PERFECT PLACE!! Will be sure to return!!
