Situated in Praiano, this lovely condo for $217 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Il Geco is an independent solution, completely renovated, of about 45 square meters with a splendid sea view. A characteristic seaside village is located in Praiano place between Amalfi and Positano (about 12 km from Amalfi and 6 km. from Positano). To reach the apartment from the highway is just take 49 steps. "Il Geco" is located in the center of Praiano, so much well served and within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants. To reach the sea (platforms) you need to go 300 steps, the staircase starts right from the house and yes winds between characteristic Mediterranean houses and gardens which alternate with rock walls, all in one scenario highly scenic. The nearest beach is the Gavitella Beach, one very characteristic beach. Can be reached at walk along about 250 steps that alternate with small lanes. Another beach is the Praia Beach, located in a natural scenery of extraordinary beauty, it is reachable by bus (5 minutes). Praiano is located in a strategic position, in fact it is It is possible to reach all the known resorts of the Amalfi Coast Amalfi and Sorrento as well as the Isle of Capri with ease even if you don't have a car. For lovers of nightlife Praiano offers piano bar, night club, disco and excellent restaurants. "Il Geco" has: a double bedroom a bathroom with shower a living room with kitchenette equipped with 4-burner hob, fridge and frizeer. The living room offers the possibility of an extra bed (fold-out chair). TV. Hot / cold air system. From the living room you have access to a small balcony runs along the front of the apartment. The balcony has a splendid sea view, but it is not the exclusive property of the house. It is a public walkway. It is possible to park the car on the rolling road side.

We traveled to this location to see, feel and taste Italy. Our stay at this property allowed us to accomplish all of our goals. We enjoyed the morning and evening views of Positano and the Mediterranean Sea, tried most of the wonderful restaurants in town and even participated in a community dinner at the local church. The stay was memorable and made all that much better by the experience at this property.

This was the perfect place for our Praiano get away. We originally checked out Positano but started hearing from people that it’s now crowded and expensive. We heard great things about Praiano and we’re so glad we chose Francesco’s place. He had Raffaele meet us at the bus stop and check us in which was so nice! He gave great recommendations and also explained the town with us. The apartment is super charming and has some of the best sunset views I’ve seen in my life. We rented a Vespa from M.L porter which is a 15 min walk and from there we were able to explore the area (Amalfi and Positano). The marina was a 5 min drive with a ton of really nice restaurants. We will definitely be back!

This is by far the best property I have stayed at. The location is perfect - near the beach and a quick bus ride to both Positano and Amalfi. There are restaurants and a grocery store very close by. Raffaele was wonderful - he made the check-in process very easy and helped us find transportation to Napoli. We could not have asked for a better Amalfi Coast experience.

We had a wonderful time staying at Francesco’s VRBO. The view from the front entrance was spectacular. The home was clean and welcoming. From Praiano it was easy to get to Positano, Capri, and other Amalfi coat destinations. Raffaele was a huge help with everything from finding the house to helping with parking and transportation and other travel necessities. We can’t wait to come back!
