Location

Mold and mildew. Strong musty odors downstairs. Water damage on ceiling tiles, shower leaked thru wall and ceiling to floor below. Toilet leak. Drains smelled of sewage. Should NOT be rented until plumbing, and structural work done. Unhealthy. Likely insulation, and septic issues too. Complained first day but should have refused to stay there. Now can't get any money back, apparently because we slept there.

The cabin was good but I will never use Vacasa again.

The view and amenities were good.

I was given the wrong access code and could not get the keys on arrival. I had to make multiple calls to get the information, while I waited outside as it was getting dark and below freezing, in an area with spotty cell reception. The booking agent told me that my reservation didn't exist, even though I had a confirmation code, received a welcome email that morning, and had my card charged. They said the local team would contact me. They never did and I had to call back again in thirty minutes. On the second call, they were able to find my information (not sure what changed), and I was given the key code. I was pretty upset that I was put in a potentially dangerous situation. All the hotels nearby were booked out for the end of the season and I was almost made shelterless on a night that was getting below freezing in bear country. I likely won't use Vacasa again as a result of this. It is no reflection on the Tupfe cabin or the homeowner.

Fantastic location in Franconia with great views and plenty of room.

Fantastic location near Franconia Notch State Park , Echo Beach and Cannon mountain but felt deep in the woods with plenty of privacy and great views. We are a family of five so there was a lot of room which was appreciated by the teenagers. WiFi worked well and fire pit was easy to use for the obligatory s’mores! Washing machine really useful as we’re half way through our trip.

Some of the lighting didn’t work but not an issue for us. No Aircon but that was clearly explained in advance so again not an issue for us.

The living area/bed room upstairs The deck The views The quiet and the noisy sings birds! The location for what we needed

The bed rooms in the cellar were very must moldy smelling The landscape outside was border line creepy
