About this house rental
Situated in Sugar Hill, this lovely house for $318 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Ask us about long-term winter rentals for the 2024 season! Nestled down a private road on a 14.5-acre scenic plot lies SugarBear. Enjoy your coffee overlooking the mountains in complete privacy. The house features three large bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a kitchen stocked with appliances, a large family and dining room for entertaining, plus a porch that wraps around the house. In addition, the property has a fire pit and a short hiking trail. Perfect for adventures in the White Mountains! The house is located conveniently close to world-class skiing, shopping, and restaurants. We are just north of Franconia Notch and Cannon Mountain. Polly's Pancake Parlor and the Sugar Hill Inn are just down the road. The house has Wi-Fi, most things needed for simple cooking, and a large basement to store your skis or great for a kid's play area! Sugar Bear Cabin is a perfect jumping-off point for adventuring during any season in the White Mountains. A lovely home for a family or group of couples. *We are following CDC guidelines regarding the cleaning of our home. Rental Operator License #: 063449 Up to two dogs are allowed. Dog fee- One dog/$100 per reservation, Two dogs/$150 per reservation. Please be a mindful pet owner and keep pets off of furniture and clean up after them :) The cabin is professionally treated for mosquitos, ticks, and mice. Most of the mice bait stations are hidden in the walls, but there are a few around the house in black bait stations (child and dog-proof).

The Log Cabin was beautiful in an amazing location, The view was just breathtaking. We would definitely stay there again

This was our 3rd stay at the cabin. It’s a beautiful and restful place. The views of the mountains and colors were just spectacular. There was not much need to drive around in traffic to leaf peep when the view was so good right there at the cabin.

Sugar Bear Cabin was absolutely gorgeous. Well equipped in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Great comms from Kat and easy check-in. A truly beautiful place to explore the local area - Flume Gorge, Littleton, Pemi Moose tours, Polly’s Pancake Parlour, and nearby Vermont to name a few. Thanks so much!

Each winter, our family can’t wait for our long weekend away together at Sugar Bear Cabin. The location is perfect for a cozy, scenic and peaceful stay. Surrounded by snowy woods and trails, we enjoy hiking, sledding and gorgeous sunsets. Cannon Mt and Polly’s Pancakes are always on our must-do list while staying at Sugar Bear.

detail was great. Host was very responsive to a couple of minor questions. Cabin is close to the towns of Littleton and Bethlehem, be ware the road to the cabin is narrow and unpaved so go slowly!!

Best rental we’ve ever stayed at through VRBO. We wanted complete privacy and quiet and this place provided that. Very clean, plenty of towels and toilet paper, etc. Kitchen very well stocked, as well. Fresh clean kitchen sponge for each guest, which is something I look for. Propane fireplace was amazing! Kept the place warm when we were relaxing in the evening and we could turn the thermostat down. Views are beautiful. Washer and dryer were great to have and we appreciated the laundry detergent. Went hiking in Franconia and Crawford Notch Parks. The location was perfect. Liked also only being 20 min from Littleton and very close to the market in downtown Franconia. I prefer the quiet side of The Whites. Will rent again during summer months.

The hosts of this house really put thought into this home, they are very accommodating and have the house fully equipped with anything you may need from soap detergent to little things like scotch tape. Beds were comfortable, house was spotless and very clean. I normally get home sick and can’t wait to go home after a few days, this was the first time I actually did not want to go back home. This house is close to everything. Beautiful beautiful beautiful….. you will not be disappointed!!! We loved it so much, my family and I are actually thinking about get a place out here for ourselves in the future. Thank you again for sharing your home with us! Repeat stay
This was our second visit, and we will most likely come again. The cabin is clean, well stocked, and exactly as described. The deck with the mountain setting is breathtaking. Beautiful sunsets from the deck.

The house and grounds are very well kept. The view from the deck was beautiful. The area was quiet, secluded and serene. Just what us city folk needed! Our hosts were wonderful and very easy to deal with. Internet was spotty but we didn't mind. We would definitely consider coming back!
