Brilliant hotel in the centre of Bruges! Very helpful owner and delicious breakfast. The room was big and comfortable! Really enjoyed our stay! Honestly it’s worth more than 3 star hotel!
The only suggestion is to put a curtain around the bath bit this is just a preference

Wonderful hotel with friendly owners and staff, we stayed in the main building which was beautifully restored but still had all modcons including a lift.
Spotlessly clean, good Aircon, good wifi, comfy bed and perfectly positioned on a quiet street within 5 mins walk of the centre. The breakfast smelled amazing and the dining room looked lovely but we didn't book this as we don't eat breakfast as a rule.
Plenty of restaurants and shops within 5 mins walk but nice and quiet street with a garden to the rear. Only 3 mins from the bus stop so easy transfer from the station on bus routes 1 & 2.
Highly recommended, we are planning a return visit, it felt like such a privilege to stay in such a beautiful building
To be honest everything about it was great. The only thing I can think of to have improved it further for me would be adding a grab rail by the loo or shower. It could be helpful for other people who aren't steady on their feet like me. However, this is by no means a criticism as it was never stated that the hotel had them, I just thought it could possibly be a useful addition.

Room size was very good as was the location. Breakfast was pretty good also.
Bathroom condition was poor. The main mirror in the bathroom nearly came off the wall. When reported the receptionist advised not to wipe the condensation off not I'll get it sorted right away.
Also no USB sockets anywhere. The parking was very limited and expensive for what it was. Plus the welcome wasn't very warm.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights in May 2026. The Hotel is in the old city but is accessible via a motorable road. The taxi ride from the train station to the hotel was around Euro 16. We could walk to all attractions from the hotel
The hotel is a heritage building so rooms are very small. Ours was on a floor that is accessible by an elevator (all rooms are not). Our room had very low beams close to the bed and in the bathroom. We had to be very careful not to hit our heads on these beams (and we are not very tall). For some reason our bathtub had no shower curtain. This led to a lot of water spraying all over the bathroom floor.
Breakfast was served in a small room. However, the breakfast spread was very minimal. When I wife asked eggs can be prepared, the lady was kind of curt with her answer.
We would stay in this property if we ever return to Brugge.
