Peaceful Lake Stay
This house is a great location that is tucked away on a cove of the lake. We had a relaxing and fun stay with family, the game room with pool/ping pong table and toys for the littles was a big hit. All 10 of us comfortably fit and everything was as listed. The propane was out on the gas grill but we were able to improvise. The dock was awesome to fish off of and we spent both nights relaxing on the upper deck. There is a boat launch about 10 minutes away if you bring a boat. Overall, a very nice stay.

Great cove location
The house had tons of space for our family and all of the essentials - well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, games and toys for the kids. Gigi provided great restaurant and activity recommendations and was very responsive, even putting us in touch with the housekeeper to get an early check-in. Loved the location on a quiet cove with minimal noise and waves.
A couple of "helpful to know" items:
- The house has internet, but it is crushingly slow. We could not run any streaming apps.
- You can tie up to the boat dock with your own boat, but the lake levels are currently so low that it's difficult to navigate getting in and out of the boat.

Nice house!
We enjoyed our stay with family & friends. Great location and fun game room. Water was very low, so we unfortunately weren’t able to enjoy the dock or shoreline.

The house is perfect. Very spacious and very clean. It’s also located in a great spot inside a nice sized cove that was very quiet and had very little traffic. There are tons of amenities both on the property as well as close by. The weather was very hot so I would love to stay at this place in the fall and experience it in a different, cooler season. Definitely worth the money which was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend this property for a beautiful and relaxing vacation getaway.

Awesome House on Cedar Creek Lake
Rented the house for our annual summer family vacation.
Location: south side of lake, somewhat private cove with few neighbors, excellent boat accommodations (we brought our ski boat and left attached to private house dock the entire week), excellent fishing off the dock, Dollar Store just down the road for those quick needs
House: excellent layout with a total of 4 bedrooms. Kids loved the playroom that was located on the front side of the house away from everyone else. If they woke up early or stayed up late, we could not hear them (excellent layout). House is very open and inviting
Excellent accommodations and we look forward to booking this house again and again. Thank you for opening up your house to all!

We had a great time
We really enjoyed our stay here. There were adequate space to fit it a group of 13 people. The house was clean. The pantry was stocked with pots, pans and all the other necessary items. The bathrooms were clean and stocked as well. The boat house was perfect for our fishing activity. One of our friend end up catching a big carp. Only one issue was that internet speed was not that great. So we couldn't run apps like youtube or netflix.
Overall it was a nice staying experience. I'd definitely recommend others to give it a try.

Beautiful views!
We love this lake house and have visited often. Love the silence and tranquility, the house is clean and well-maintained. Host was phenomenal. Great sundeck!! We enjoyed the views from the rocking chairs on the back porch and hanging out at the fire pit. We will continue to return to this lovely home.

The property is nice. Good location and clean. However, several things in the house are quite old and not functioning properly. No logs for the campfire. Barely okay in value you receive.

This property is set up on the perfect location of Cedar Creek lake. Communication with Gigi was easy and quick. The set up of the home was spacious and well equipped. Docking my boat was convenient to be onsite and Gigi gave us good directions to the nearby public boat ramp. Due to the narrowness of the side of the dock which had the cleats, it may be difficult for older folks to get on/off a boat if you moor your boat there. The refrigerator is rather loud but not located near any bedrooms. The laundry light works but you must turn on a switch near the kitchen (figured out this one on the last day after using our flashlight to do laundry, lol!!)...just fyi! I would return but would suggest a deep clean in the off season.

Also the house is not 4 bedrooms + additional sleeping as the listing indicates. It’s 3 bedrooms and the converted garage is additional sleeping. We still had enough beds but we were expecting different. Overall nice time and pretty location.

Needs a deep clean
We love this house and the lay out but were disappointed in the cleanliness this time. Floors were sticky and dirty, the comforter had an unknown crusty substance on it and the showers need a deep clean. We had to clean up the fire pit to be able to even use it (empty beer/water bottles were plentiful) and the fall debris in general needs to be cleaned up.

Well kept property and great location. We enjoyed our stay. Ran into checkin process with alarm, but was able to call the owner who helped with alarm code. Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet and nice house

Our group of friends takes an annual trip to get out of Dallas. This house was perfect sized for us! We had enough space to spread out yet also be close. We took full advantage of the double deck and the lake all weekend. We were initially pretty shocked by the shallow lake depth and slick clay bottom but enjoyed escaping the heat nonetheless.
The only bump we ran into was with the fridge. It had a hard time keeping all our food and beverages cool throughout the weekend.
Overall, we have to say it was a wonderful weekend and a beautiful home to spend it in. Thanks for having us!

Our group of friends takes an annual trip to get out of Dallas. This house was perfect sized for us! We had enough space to spread out yet also be close. We took full advantage of the double deck and the lake all weekend. We were initially pretty shocked by the shallow lake depth and slick clay bottom but enjoyed escaping the heat nonetheless.
The only bump we ran into was with the fridge. It had a hard time keeping all our food and beverages cool throughout the weekend.
Overall, we have to say it was a wonderful weekend and a beautiful home to spend it in. Thanks for having us!

While walking into house, it had a bad odor, which remained the entire stay. It did not smell clean or fresh. To me, the smell is very important ! The floors were sticky in one area with ants all over it. I opted to clean the floor and paper towel was brown once used/cleaned..... hence, floor very dirty. There were several flies in entire house, mostly in kitchen where cooking. It was very frustrating because I paid a large amount to rent home and paid a cleaning fee, which I had to clean part of house. Outside there were bird droppings all over porch. There was a lot of left over items left from previous renters. Shoes, sunglasses, etc.
There were cigarette buts all inside dock wood panels. The house smelled like dead fish on the outside front and back. The dock ladder to enter water was broke and a hazard. I almost fell badly on trying to get up ladder -
I went to cook noodles and there was NOT a pan/pot for doing so. The dishes were not appealing to use. Not the plates nor silverware looked sanitized/clean. I had to go out an purchase paper plates and plastic silverware for our group .
The bath towels provided were tiny and had bleach stains all over them. They did not feel fresh or clean.
The second morning of stay the lawn was mowed and very loud. The lawn service stayed for over an hour, with us feeling not private in the yard or lake area of house.
The house had great furniture and decor was awesome. The cove where home located was calm, nice and relaxing.
The beds were very comfortable and soft.
The only issues were the cleanliness of home on inside and outside and long stay from lawn services.
All in all, I would give this rental property a "4" on a scale of 1-10.
I have stayed in several rentals at Cedar Creek lake and would not stay at this house ever again.
I am not picky and try to look at the positive of all. I found this home to be needing some attention.

Gorgeous house.
This house is gorgeous and very spacious. It has a great layout that makes it feel big, but has a enough rooms to that others can be sleeping, playing video games and you never know while you are cooking or eating in the main room.

My family spent two nights at this property when my son got married, and we absolutely loved it! There was lots of room for us to mingle, and relax. The house is absolutely beautiful, not to mention spacious. And the view...you couldn’t ask for a better one! We hope to go back again!
