We love Prainha but this was our first time staying in the hotel. The lunch at the hotel was lovely. We didn't have breakfast. Staff were very helpful and great to be able to easily store luggage and changing facilities after checkout. Had two teenagers who loved the football, tennis court amd swimming pool.
I could have missed this in an email but might be worth advising that no washing machine facility provided / residents to provide dishwasher tablets and brush or cloth for washing dishes.

Access to the beach and Atlantic pool. Air conditioning was excellent.
The apartment needs updating and feals tired. The floors need renovation and we’re never 100% clean with age

The actual complex was very nice. My apartment was a good size and had two balconys. However there was no proper outdoor furniture on either. On one balcony there were two very worn old fashioned deck chairs and a clothes dryer and absolutely nothing on the larger balcony - nothing. The bar area and restaurant was also nice but the bar closed about 10.30pm-11.0pm which is very early for people on holiday wishing to sit around and talk. Also some of the bar staff were quite rude when asked about closing so early. The swimming pool attendant just came and took down the sun shades at 6.0pm when it was still very hot and sunny. We had children with us and so we didn't want to sit without shade from the sun. He was also very rude. This meant we had to leave the pool at that time. In my bathroom there was a very slippy bath and no bath mat. Quite dangerous. There were also insects crawling on the floor. There were also lots of ants in my bedroom. I asked at reception if they could do something about it and the man there said there was no one there and I would have to wait until Monday. Very unacceptable and there was nothing he could do. I asked again on Monday and one of the ladies at reception said oh we have them here too!! then handed me a can of insect killer. I don't consider this good customer care. All in all I was very disappointed as we were looking forward to our holiday here.
