Great position for visiting the ferrari museum. Some good restaurants in easy walking distance.
They were really accommodating letting us check into our room early, we were wanting to store our luggage for the day.
Good buffet breakfast.
The floor in our room was dirty and there was an electric jug but not cups or tea or coffee to make a drink.

The Hotel is just on the outskirts of the main town area but you can easily walk into the palazzos, restaurants and cafes, its also very close to the Ferrari museum if you're into that sort of thing (we had a look in the shop but didn't go inside). There is also free parking on the surrounding streets, with a card the hotel gives you to put on your dash. Modena itself is a cute little town, but 1 night was enough for us while passing through from Venice to La Spezia.
There is a main roundabout (intersection) just across from the hotel which can be a bit loud throughout the night for light sleepers like myself.
We were also unfortunately next to an obnoxious American couple who came home drunk at 1am and proceeded to talk loudly in the hallway outside our door on multiple occasions, slaming doors, showering and clunking around in the adjoining room (207, 28th of July) until 3am in the morning, on a week day. I only got about 3 or 4 hours sleep during my stay here, so I left feeling pretty sh!t and tired.
There was also a minor incident during breakfast which I can laugh at and understand the confusion, but just something to be aware of. There was an extensive selection of teas but no coffee at the included breakfast, so I asked the chef if they have coffee, he said yes I can make a coffee for you, what would you like? I said Latte, which is what we call it in Australia, but he literally bought out 2 glasses of warm milk which has never happened in my life, including the several months i've spent in Europe. He said Latte means milk in Italian, which I already knew but considering I asked for coffee it was a bit baffling. Anyway, he agreed the language can be confusing and proceeded to make a few expresso shots of coffees to add to the milk. Its not a big deal, but just an funny thing I'd not encountered before, ha ha.
